The difference? The way Justine holds you in it. š

From the moment you walk in - herbal tea breath, presence
youāre guided, supported, seen by
And thatās why it works.

Itās a space to be held.

Nervous system care, gentle yoga and mindful living. Yoga teacher and co-owner of The Tea Thief. Events, workshops and 1:1 mentoring to help you stress less.
THIS ISNāT PARKINSONāS. š
Itās an unregulated nervous system.
Those shakes?
They can happen when your body is releasing stored stress.
When youāve been running on:
ā” pressure
ā” cortisol
ā” caffeine
ā” ājust push through itā
Your nervous system gets stuck in fight-or-flight.
Then the moment your body slows downā¦
it tries to shake the stress out.
Literally.
If it happens, try this:
⢠Slow nasal breathing
⢠Long exhales than inhales
⢠Feet grounded on the floor
⢠Let the shaking pass instead of fighting it
Your body isnāt broken.
Itās trying to regulate.
Iāve been though it and Iām still experiencing it on a day to day basis. It doesnāt magically go away but
Follow for more nervous system tools that actually work. š§
Do you embrace Woo Woo? The Crown Pull looks weird.
Letās not pretend.
But so does breathwork.
So does meditation.
So did cold plunging 10 years ago.
Now itās mainstream.
If running your fingers across your scalp:
⢠Lowers stress
⢠Improves clarity
⢠Helps you respond instead of react
Why does it need to sound clinical for us to respect it?
Science matters.
But so does lived experience and so do the things we canāt see or even explain.
If you find certain techniques too Woo Woo give this a go and see how you feel š
Hot take š„
Your ability to ālook okayā
is NOT proof you are okay.
Brains are complex.
Healing isnāt aesthetic.
And coherence ā capacity.
Concussions. Neurodivergence. Nervous system overload.
None of it needs validation to be real.
Letās stop gaslighting invisible struggles.
And start creating space for real recovery.
Invisible injuries are still injuries.
So maybe instead of questioning someoneās realityā¦ā¦listen.
If youāve ever been told ābut you look okayā this is for you š§ š
Save this. Share this. Normalize this.
Firstly a huge thankyou for so much support and the vulnerability of your sharing š
I honestly didnāt realise how serious concussion was.
Comments Like⦠āitās just a knock to the head, get over it ā
Im guessing that mindset usually comes from people whoāve never had a brain injury or like me in the past mild concussion that you hardly notice š§
The bruises healed fast.
My brain though is Still catching up.
And itās been a humbling reminder that:
⢠Healing isnāt visible
⢠Your brain needs breaks, not pressure
⢠Rest is part of recovery, not weakness
⢠Itās not something you can push through
So if youāre pushing through fog, headaches, or exhaustion
Take a break before your body forces you too
Even if you think you donāt need it yet.
š¬ Save this for the day youāre tempted to push.
Iāve always worried about other peopleās opinions of me but thatās changing.
As I embrace my unapologetic self, Iām learning this truth:
other peopleās opinions and judgments are completely out of our control.
When we ruminate over them, they only intensify anxiety and uncertainty.
But the way we see ourselves?
That is within our control.
And thatās where real freedom begins.
What would your life look like if you didnāt care what others thought? Itās sure not easy but itās going to be liberating!
Literally 5 mins to reset. Brew a cuppa and sit down without screens or your phone.
For those of you who donāt know, I run a tea company
Started after going through IVF and getting fed up with the āhealthyā wellness teas that tasted like medicine.
Our star player is Tickety-Brew, the blue one, and itās part of how I reset my nervous system. Perfect for a tea meditation and as a ritual before sleep.
I use tea a lot because regulation doesnāt need to be complicated.
Sometimes it just needs a mug and a moment. šµš®āšØ

5 minute Reset when things are feeling too much or you feel down.
Find your happy place, not forever, just for now. I do love that many of you find the ocean, lake or beach a happy place just like I do š
It might be real, remembered, or quietly imagined. Maybe it was somewhere you went on holiday, your favourite beach, forest, mountain.
Close your eyes and picture yourself there.
Notice what your body feels like in that place.
Your nervous system responds to safety, even when itās imagined.
You can return to this place whenever things feel like too much.
What place helps you soften, even a little?
šI know how it feels to be a bit left out today and Motherās Day can feel so hard for so many. So thankful for my fur baby - hereās to :
šthe step-mums, the godmothers, the fur baby mums.
āØšones who mother with their presence, not always biology.
āØšthose who ache quietlyāwhoāve lost a mum, a child, a dream.
āØšthe ones who have held hope through IVF, loss, and longing.
āØšthe aunties, the sisters, the neighbours who show up with love.
āØšthe mother-hearted in all their forms.

Today was graduation day for my 300 hrs teacher training Something I never thought I would do but itās been an increasingly journey of learning and discovery. A journey along with the most amazing women and such loving and supportive teachers š itās been wonderful to share the learning space with the cutest and chilled out dogs too š¶
I know I have something great to offer in the yoga world and health space along with my business šµ watch out for some great workshops and offerings as I get planning šš

Iāve not painted in acrylics for probably about 15 years ā¦. It took a while to get used to the fast drying time and different consistency to oil paint.
It definitely has its advantages as well as disadvantages but Iāve enjoyed creating this colourful piece šŗ
