Its wednesday so that means the wednesday social ride will be out again!
This is ride 24 for the year and so far there has been 1 wet ride. How lucky is that!
Looking like another cracker tonight. Don't forget to throw in a jacket and beanie for the social part of the social ride. It is wintertime!

Missing dog alert. Went missing up the waimak on 8th June. Owners would like any info if you have seen this dog.

Last night’s Wednesday Social Ride looked less like a bike group and more like someone shook a DVD store and the characters fell out onto McLeans Island.

We had Forrest Gump jogging along like he’d “just felt like riding,”
Top Gun trying to draft everyone because “I feel the need… the need for speed,”
Trinity bending the laws of physics (and probably the trail rules),
and Spiderman sticking to the climbs better than his tyres ever have.

Then Slimer from Ghostbusters oozed through like he’d eaten too many gels,
Special Man arrived—our very own off‑brand Superman riding a very off‑brand Specialized,
and a clown who, frankly, didn’t need the costume to ride like one.

The Cool Runnings bobsled team turned up in full formation, proving once and for all that “feel the rhythm, feel the ride” applies to bikes too.
W***y Wonka handed out imaginary chocolate,
Mary Poppins floated up the hills with suspicious ease,
and the Men in Black kept trying to neuralyze anyone who saw them walking the steep bits.
