Eastern Southland Basketball Association (ESBA) is partnering with BBNZ to bring Girls Got Game (GGG) and Kiwi Hoops to our community — and we want YOU to be part of it!

We're looking for keen locals who want to learn how to deliver these awesome programs, with an experienced coach from Invercargill showing you the ropes this first term. By the end of it, you'll be running the show yourself!

✅ No experience necessary — just enthusiasm and a love for basketball
✅ Great opportunity to build coaching skills and give back to the local basketball community

Referees:
We are very lucky to have Sherri on board this year to help develop our referees. It has been such a great resource on the ground to help our referees improve and grow. We've had some great refs coming through this season. We are lucky that schools are happy to pay some of our senior refs for their services and we are lucky that still so many kids are willing to give their time to ref game after game. I am so proud of the newbies that have stepped up and our senior refs being such great examples and leaders. Thank to you each of you that have reffed this season, from the bottom of my heart, it fills me with all the emotions 🥹😍🥰

Our president Sean did a great job presenting these awards with the help of Jarrod and Daniel. A massive thank you to everyone on our committee for all the work they do behind the scenes. So many things we don't think about and notice, but it all gets done, THANK YOU!!!
