At St Paul’s Dance Studio, we offer a wide range of classes for ages 3+, helping your child find their groove and grow in confidence, creativity, and joy in a safe, supportive environment 💛

From Ballet, Jazz & Contemporary to Hip Hop, Tap, Acro, and our fun Shuffle & Shake preschool classes for our youngest dancers and Open Choreography + Technique Classes for our seniors - there’s something for every dancer! 🙌

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

⭐️NZAMD Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop & Tap. These classes all learn exam syllabus work and foundations/techniques/skills within the style. Students are able to then sit exams and medal tests as well as performing at our Mid Winter & EOY Show. Ages 5+

⭐️Acro dance classes are an open class to master new acro tricks safely while building strength, flexibility, and confidence in your dancing! Throughout the year they develop skills and perform dances at our Mid Winter & EOY Show. Ages 5+

⭐️Open Choreography is a class that explores fresh choreography and dances each week, it is a fun, high energy class for major grades only (13+).

⭐️Technique is an additional class for our intermediate to senior dancers to keep up strength and flexibility while working on skills like turns, leaps and kicks. Ages 11+

⭐️Shuffle & Shake Preschool Dance (Groovers) is a dance class for our youngest budding dancers to shuffle, shake, and explore! Every two weeks they dive into a new, exciting theme - from the zoo, to outer space, under the sea, and beyond! With music, props, and playful movement, the kids build balance, coordination, confidence, and creativity - all while having heaps of fun! Ages 3-4 years
