🦂Scorpio Edition ♏️
This move is a BIG favourite in our acro classes so lets talk and learn about it !!
Here are some ways for our dancers to learn and master a scorpion
Scorpion🦂
•Leg positioning
Working leg should be lifted high (at least 45° or higher)
Supporting leg is locked in and strong 💪🏼
•Hip and shoulder alignment
Hips and shoulders should stay square, maintaining good posture throughout the movement
Technique 🤸🏻♀️
•Reach back and grasp your foot with your sole and palm facing up
•Pull foot forward towards you and rotate your elbow to the ceiling as you move and pull your leg behind your body
•Reach your opposite hand back to help hold your foot
