⚡ Body awareness – understanding where their body is and how it moves

💪 Confidence – practising, wobbling, trying again and celebrating progress!

💥 BOOM Ready Position! 💥

At Playball, you'll often hear us shout "BOOM!" and every child knows exactly what to do!

The BOOM Ready Position is our Playball stance that gets us ready for anything. We stand with:

👣 Feet shoulder-width apart.
🦵 Knees bent slightly ready to spring into action
🤲 Hands out and balanced.
👀 Eyes focused on the ball or the target (depending on the skill).

It's like pressing the "GO!" button on our bodies!

From the BOOM Ready Position, children can run, catch, throw, kick, jump or change direction in a flash. Being balanced and "ready to react" helps children move more quickly and confidently!
