Our Professional Stylist students are nearing the end of their training, and we need your help!

We're looking for models for some of their final practical assessments, with some fantastic discounts available! 🎉

We're looking for models for specific haircut styles, including:

Rangi is looking for 1 more model for her final assessment on Friday 9th October! ✂️🎨

She is looking for a model who wants a colour and cut restyle as per inspo pics.

Hair needs to be natural or light if coloured and long and one length.

All models will need to come in tomorrow for a consultation and strand test.

This student created a beautiful combination of braiding, soft waves and delicate detailing, bringing everything together into a really wearable finished look.

Want to learn how to create realistic Halloween makeup and simple special effects?
Join us at Varda Academy for a hands-on one-day workshop where you’ll learn techniques including:
🩸 Cuts, wounds & scratches
💜 Bruising and distressed skin
🧟 Zombie and undead effects
🔥 Simple burn effects
👻 Dark, sunken Halloween eyes
🩹 Scar wax techniques
🩸 Fake blood and finishing effects
💄 Creating a complete Halloween look
No previous makeup experience needed — this workshop is suitable for beginners and anyone who loves makeup, Halloween or special effects.
📅 Friday 30 October
⏰ 9am–4pm
📍 Varda Academy, Hamilton
💰 $179 per person
Your course fee includes a Mini FX Pack valued at $59.50 to use during the workshop and take home with you, so you can recreate your looks for Halloween.
