👢 Remember this from the Fantasyland days?

The iconic boot has been part of the park since 1969 and was largely funded by the Lions Club.

Inspired by the nursery rhyme There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, it’s one of those little pieces of Fantasyland history that’s still here today. ❤️

You’ll find it beside Jungle Adventures Playground and Jungle Jeeps in the Splash Planet Play Park – open every weekend for a whole new generation to explore.

Come and revisit a childhood memory while the kids make some new ones!

The chilly morning has cleared up and the sun is popping out! ☀️

We are open today and every weekend from 9am to 4pm. Come down and enjoy the Play Park!

Tokens for these rides are available from Coffee Bean Café.

🏎️ Formula Fun Go-Karts (weather permitting)
$10 per ride, payable by EFTPOS at the Go-Karts.

🎠 Illuminate has also brought along a fantastic selection of carnival rides! Ride tickets are available to purchase from the white ticket tent in the carnival area.

Hawke's Bay Police will be undertaking a planned training exercise at Splash Planet on Wednesday 22 July from 12.30pm–4pm.

The public may hear loud noises and see Police vehicles during this time. Please be assured this is a scheduled training exercise, and there is no risk to the community.

Hawke’s Bay Police would like to advise the public of a training exercise taking place this Wednesday at Splash Planet.

The Armed Offenders Squad will be conducting the training from about 12.30-4pm on Wednesday 22 July.

Members of the public can expect to see Police in blue uniform with marked cars in the car park of Splash Planet, but all training will be conducted inside the venue.

The training includes carrying fi****ms and using blank ammunition, so loud bangs may be heard, and yelling may also be heard during the scenarios.

Please be assured there is no cause for alarm.

We thank the public for their patience while we conduct this crucial training that enables us to continue to keep our communities safe.

Illuminate Light & Sound Experience - Flicket

It's a bit waterlogged in places, and last night's winds have brought down quite a few tree branches.

For everyone's safety, Splash Planet Play Park will be closed this Saturday and Sunday while we clean up and make sure it's safe for everyone to enjoy.

We know it's disappointing, but we'd much rather see you back when the only thing falling is your score on the mini golf course.
