Splash Planet Splash Planet is a water based theme park in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay open each summer. Righto. Spectators for both are $7. Pheeeeewwww.

We are only Closed on Christmas Day through the holiday season.
3 and under are free. Adult (14 and over) super pass are $32
Children (4 to 13) super pass $22
Senior citizens are $7 for a super pass.
3 years & under are free. Adult swim passes are $22
Child swim passes $16
3 years & under are free. Club cards are available to Hawke's Bay residents only from November 14 and must be presented at ticketing for discounted prices, of up to 10 each day. BBQ hire is $25 for the day, just bring your own utensils and oil. Gift vouchers are only available at general admission prices.

We’re getting ready for summer here at Splash Planet – and so is Sq**rt the Watersaurus! 🦖☀️

You’ll spot him out and about in the Hastings Blossom Parade this Saturday, so make sure you give him a big high five if you see him! ✋🌸

Splash Planet opens for summer on Saturday 14 November, so now’s the time to start planning your trip.

This Halloween, Splash Planet is turning spooky once again for two nights of tricks, treats and family fun.

✨ Glow in the Dark Disco
🍬 Trick or Treat Trail
📚 Terrifying Tales and Creepy Crafts
🏘️ Boo Town
🎭 Live entertainment
🎶 DJ Lil’ B
🍕 Playgrounds, food trucks and lots more!

There’ll also be spot prizes for some of the best dressed, so get creative with those costumes.

Plus, if you want even more thrills, there are optional extra rides and attractions including Ghostland Express, Jungle Jeepers Creepers, Wonderland Mini Golf and Formula Fun Karts.

🎟️ Tickets $10 per person
Children 5 and under free

Tickets are required for everyone attending, including adults and children aged 5 and under.

☑️ Must have a Hastings District Mobile Shop Licence
☑️ Must be fully self-contained
☑️ Must be able to roll off-site each day

🎃 Remember this from the Fantasyland days?

The iconic pumpkin was designed and built by Hastings City Council Parks & Reserves staff and opened in 1970.

Built from a pipe frame covered with netting and concrete, it was inspired by the pumpkins of fairytales – and more than 50 years later, it’s still part of Splash Planet today. ❤️

You can find it in Splash Planet Play Park, open every Saturday and Sunday from 9am–4pm for mini-golf, playgrounds, jeeps, splash pad and café.

Come and revisit another little piece of Fantasyland history while the kids make some memories of their own!

☀️ Well hello, sunshine!
After a week of rain, that blue sky is looking pretty good… and the forecast says there’s more sunshine to come this weekend.

Is it warm enough for a bit of water play? Yeah, why not! 💦

Splash Planet Play Park is open Saturday and Sunday, 9am–4pm, with plenty to keep the kids busy.

And a heads-up – our Play Park weekends will keep rolling right through to Labour Weekend.

👢 Remember this from the Fantasyland days?

The iconic boot has been part of the park since 1969 and was largely funded by the Lions Club.

Inspired by the nursery rhyme There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, it’s one of those little pieces of Fantasyland history that’s still here today. ❤️

You’ll find it beside Jungle Adventures Playground and Jungle Jeeps in the Splash Planet Play Park – open every weekend for a whole new generation to explore.

Come and revisit a childhood memory while the kids make some new ones!
