Mountain Hunters has been providing hunters with exceptional trophy hunting experiences for over 25 y

Based on the lush North Island coast line Mountain Hunters is a small family business passionate about providing an experience of a life time to everyone who enjoys the outdoors. Adrian and Brent Moody (Father and Son) are your experienced guides that will put you on the animals you are looking for. Wendy Moody makes sure the non-hunters have an eventful and enjoyable time showing them unbeatable New Zealand hospitality. From the lodge hunters can stalk giant Red Stag, Fallow, Elk, Sika, Rusa, Sambar, Boar, Ram and Goat. Different hunting locations offer views of the Pacific ocean which is just 3 mile down the road. Local attractions include vineyards and w**e tasting, hot air ballooning, scenic walking, shopping, maori culture, seal colonies, coastal experience and fishing. From the warm North Island lodge it is a 2 hour scenic flight to the South Island to hunt Tahr and Chamois in the mighty Southern Alps.
