WORKING BEE – NOBM CLUBROOMS

We’re having a working bee at the Napier Old Boys Marist Rugby Club Clubrooms on Saturday 3 October from 10am.

Foreman Bam has plenty of tasks lined up, so we need a few willing hands to help knock them over. There’ll be jobs for all abilities — any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many hands make light work.

BBQ and a few beers afterwards for everyone who lends a hand.

We are saddened to acknowledge the passing of NOBM Club Member Mark O’Dowd. Mark was a proud Napier Marist sportsman, representing the club in both rugby and cricket, and we remember his contributions and the time he spent as part of the NOBM sporting community.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Donna, Mark’s family and his many friends at this very sad time.

Deeply loved husband and bestie of Donna. Incredible Dad to Ella, Hannah and Moti. The best Poppa to Gus, Kaiahi, Beaudie, Molly, Kahutia, Willa-Jane, Raukawa and Nikora. Beloved brother of Mary, Louise, Simon and Jonathan. Loved uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. A favoured colleague and boss to many, and dearly loved by all his friends.

A service to celebrate Marky's beautiful but short life will be held at The Napier Old Boys Marist Clubrooms, Friday 25th September at 11am. Visitors are welcome at 30 Nelson Crescent, Napier.

Golden Oldies this Saturday hosted by Napier Pirates. Bring you boots down and enjoyed a bit of banter, some average footy a few beers followed by a feed and the Magpies on the big screen. Bar opens 11.30am, jersey, shorts and socks provided.
