Welcome to Eskview Junior Rugby Club

Eskview Junior Rugby Club isn’t just about rugby—it’s about whānau, fun, and community. We’re a warm and welcoming club where young tamariki can develop a love for the game, grow in confidence, and make lifelong friends. From the moment a child picks up a rugby ball, they become part of something special—a club that encourages them to have fun, play their best, and enjoy every moment on the field. A Club Where Kids Thrive
At Eskview Junior Rugby Club, enjoyment comes first. We believe that when kids have fun, they stay engaged, grow in confidence, and develop a natural passion for the game. Whether it’s their first time lacing up boots or they’ve been playing for years, every child is supported and encouraged to reach their potential. Learning Through Play
Our training sessions are designed to be exciting, age-appropriate, and engaging. Through fun drills, small-sided games, and match days filled with encouragement, tamariki of all skill levels get the chance to learn in a supportive, pressure-free environment. We focus on fostering a love for the game while helping players develop their skills at their own pace. More Than Just Rugby – A True Club Whānau
Eskview Junior Rugby Club is more than just a sports team—we’re a family. Parents, volunteers, and coaches work together to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home. It’s a place where friendships are formed, community connections are strengthened, and memories are made both on and off the field. Parents Are Part of the Team Too
We know that a great club is built on strong support, and at Eskview, parents are just as much a part of the team as the players. Whether it’s cheering from the sidelines, lending a hand on game days, or getting involved behind the scenes, our families are at the heart of everything we do. Building Skills for Life
While we’re passionate about rugby, we’re just as focused on developing good people. Through teamwork, respect, resilience, and sportsmanship, our young players learn skills that will serve them well beyond the rugby field. Winning is great—but at Eskview Junior Rugby Club, personal growth, effort, and enjoying the journey matter most. Our Community Connection
Based at Petane Domain, Onehunga Road, Bayview, just 7km north of the airport, we are proud to be deeply connected to the wider Bayview, Eskdale, Whirinaki, Te Pohue, Tutira, and Puketapu communities. Our club isn’t just a place to play sport—it’s a place where people come together, look out for one another, and build lasting relationships. Join the Eskview Junior Rugby Club Whānau
At Eskview Junior Rugby Club, it’s not just about creating good rugby players—it’s about nurturing happy, confident tamariki, welcoming new families, and strengthening our community through a shared love of the game. Come and be part of something special—join us today!
