We have now got our volunteer timekeepers and barcode scanners, but to make our finish line work tomorrow , we still need a volunteer to hand out finish tokens .

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered for this coming Saturday 🙏🏻.

We are still in need of volunteers to do the roles below please .

The first two are essential roles at the finish line .

Marshals assist with on course safety and signposting .

Having a volunteer to assist with token sorting takes that task away from the run director .

The photographer and report writer roles are always nice to have a volunteer for .

At the finish shute :

🦺timekeeper
🦺🦺finish tokens
🦺finish token collector ( combined with marshalling near the finish initially )

On course :

🦺🦺🦺🦺🦺marshals

During the event :

🦺photographer
🦺report writer

After the event :

🦺post event close down
🦺🦺token sorting

Hudson Li, often seen with his Dad, Sam doing the first timer's briefing received a highly commended award in the recent Cornwall Park poetry competition.

Hudson is only 6, but he's hit the nail on the head with his parkrun poem, he's our number 1! 🫶
