Watopia has just expanded with 17 km of new roads across three islands, along with 9 new cycling routes to explore!

Think coastal roads, ocean views, fast flat sections and even a few whales and bison along the way! 🐋

There’s something for everyone, whether you’re chasing new route badges, enjoying a steady spin or looking forward to racing on the new circuits.

And with the warmer weather arriving across NZ and Australia, there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy some real-world kilometres too! ☀️

⭐ 4STAR RACING — FUN IN THE SUN! ☀️🚴

The 4STAR crew have been making the most of the warmer weather, getting outdoors and clocking up some impressive kilometres! 🔥

From relaxed rides to big endurance adventures, we’ve seen everything from 46 km outings to a massive 170 km effort, with some serious climbing thrown in — including one ride tackling 2,880 metres of elevation! ⛰️💪

It’s fantastic seeing the 4STAR colours out on the roads and our members enjoying everything cycling has to offer.

Big kilometres, fresh air, sunshine and good times on two wheels. That’s what it’s all about! ❤️💙

🔥⭐ FRR TOUR IGNITE — IT STARTS TOMORROW! ⭐🔥

Tomorrow sees the start of Flamme Rouge Racing’s Tour Ignite, and it should be a cracker for everyone from 4STAR getting involved.

FRR has put together an 8-stage tour running from 3–11 October, covering roughly 300 km with around 2,500 m of climbing. Along the way there’s a mixture of rolling and hilly stages, two individual time trials, a rest day, and a Queen Stage to finish it all off.

🏆 THERE’S MORE THAN JUST GC

Tour Ignite includes competitions for General Classification, Sprint, Polka/Climbing and Teams. FRR uses its class-based system so riders compete within their own gender and rider classification, meaning there are competitions happening throughout the field rather than everything simply being about who crosses the line first overall.

There are multiple race times available for each stage to cater for riders around the world, and your first completed attempt at each stage is the one that counts.

And importantly, FRR racing itself is free to enter — you don’t need a paid subscription simply to race.

⭐ GOOD LUCK 4STAR!

We’ve got a number of 4STAR riders getting amongst Tour Ignite, so it’ll be great seeing plenty of familiar names and 4STAR colours throughout the next nine days.

Whether you’re chasing GC, hunting sprint or climbing points, targeting individual stages or simply challenging yourself to complete the entire Tour — enjoy it.

Eight stages.

Two iTTs.
One Queen Stage.
And undoubtedly a fair amount of suffering. 😂🔥
