🏆 WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE 2026! 💙⚽

Our Senior & Club Prizegiving was held the other weekend, and what a celebration it was! A fantastic night to wrap up an incredible year of football and celebrate everything our teams have achieved.

⚽ MEN'S 1ST & U23'S ⚽
Took on the LOTTO NRFL Men’s Championship and held their own at this level — proving YES, TAFC belongs here! What an achievement for the club.

🏆 LAKERS — BAY DIVISION 3 CHAMPIONS! 🏆
CHAMPIONES! CHAMPIONES! OLE OLE OLE! What a season from the lads!

🥈 W-LEAGUE — RUNNERS UP!
A fantastic season and a brilliant effort from the ladies. Well done!

🔥 LAKERETTES — TABLE SPLIT WINNERS! 🔥
And to top it off, they made the Waikato Knockout Cup Final! A massive achievement for this group of ladies — you did the club proud!

A huge THANK YOU to every player, coach, manager, volunteer, supporter and sponsor who makes TAFC what it is. Without you, there is no club.

So many achievements, so many memories, and plenty to be proud of.

Rebel Sport's Boot Drive, they are asking customers to bring in their pre-loved football boots that they no longer need. As a thank you, they’ll receive 20% off a new pair of football boots/shoes when they donate.

It’s a great way to give old boots a second life and hopefully help someone else in our local football community! 🙌🏽

Not the fairytale ending we were all hoping for… BUT WHAT A RUN!

Making it all the way to the FINAL and putting in an absolutely brilliant performance is an achievement in itself!

Ladies, you gave it everything, played with heart and represented TAFC with pride. The whole club is incredibly proud of you!

So close this time… maybe next year it’s YOUR trophy to lift!

Heads up, ladies — you’ve done yourselves and the club proud!

Best of luck, lads! Get stuck in, enjoy the footy, give them plenty to talk about and, most importantly… try to make it through the weekend without adding another injury to the collection! 😂

It is with great sadness that we remember Mark, a former TAFC player who played for the club in the early 2000s and who has sadly passed away.

He was a welcoming presence to new players, always friendly and approachable, and a great guy to have alongside you on the field.

Our thoughts are with Mark’s family, friends, and all those who knew him. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by the TAFC family.

Rest in peace, Mark. 💙

RAINBOW, Mark John
