The back nine continues, and Hole 14 gives Kelvin, Maree & special guest Leon Botha (NZDSS) another chance to attack a very playable—but deceptively challenging—par 3.

At 66 metres, this is all about finding the right line and giving yourself a clean look at the basket.

Jellie Park continues to reward players who can adapt their shot selection.

The goal here is simple: commit to your line, control the speed and give yourself a realistic birdie look.

Get too aggressive and the course can quickly turn a straightforward hole into a scramble. Play too cautiously, and you’ll leave yourself too much work to do.

With three different playing styles in the group, it’ll be interesting to see which approach works best!

After the excitement of the ace-run Hole 12, it’s time for a very different challenge.

Kelvin, Maree & special guest Leon Botha (NZDSS) need to send their tee shots over the path and toward the basket sitting on a grass island.

🎯 Birdie is definitely there… but far from guaranteed

The good news?

The out-of-bounds hazards aren’t nearly as intimidating this time around.

The bad news?

Getting close enough for birdie is seriously challenging. 😬

This is a hole where distance control and accuracy matter far more than simply throwing hard. Find the island and you’ve given yourself a chance—but even a good drive can leave a demanding putt.

Sometimes the safest hole isn’t necessarily the easiest hole to birdie!
