We’re pleased to be hosting the 47th Annual Eagles Golfing Society of Hawke’s Bay Halberg Golf Day & Dinner at Napier Golf Club on Thursday 22 October.

This annual event raises funds and awareness for the Halberg Foundation and its work helping young people with disabilities access sport and recreation.

There’s plenty to play for too, with a prize pool valued at over $10,000.

Golf entry is $70 per player, including dinner, with non-player dinner tickets available for $35. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Entries are limited to the first 144 paid players, with registrations required by Saturday 3 October.

Course Update ⛳️

Mini coring will be taking place on the greens next Tuesday and Wednesday.

While work is underway, only 9 holes will be available for play at a time. When the front 9 is being worked on, the back 9 will remain open, and vice versa.

Want to play 18? No problem - you’ll just need to play the available 9 twice.

Thanks for your patience while our greens team gets this important course maintenance underway.

Club Champs Finals are ON this Saturday ⛳️

Some of Napier Golf Club’s brightest young talent will be out on course, alongside some familiar faces, with the 2026 Club Championship titles on the line.

Come down, walk the fairways, cheer them on and see who takes home the titles.

First matches tee off from 7:30am, we’d love to see plenty of support out there!

Today we’re celebrating International Greenkeepers Day and the people who work behind the scenes to keep our course looking and playing its best.

A special thank you to our Course Superintendent, Ingrid, and our greens team for the early mornings, hard work and care that goes into the course every day.

There’s a huge amount that happens out there that most of us never see – from mowing and course set-up to repairs, renovations and everything in between.

Grab your golf friends and make a day of it at Napier Golf Club!

The PAK’nSAVE Tamatea 9-Hole Women’s Tournament is coming up on Sunday 30 August, with plenty of prizes to play for and a shared snack platter included.

Open to women with a 9-hole membership and a maximum WHS Handicap Index of 48.0.

Entry is $35, payable on the day, with a two-tee start from noon.

Entries close Wednesday 26 August.

Just two more matches to be played this morning — and then our Top 16 pairs for 2026 will be confirmed. The full draw, including pair handicaps and shots as of 1 August, will be printed and ready for pickup from 3pm in the Burns Buchanan Lounge.
