The World Junior Team Championships are underway in Cairo! After more than 48 hours of travel, the team is off to a flying start with a 2-0 win over Ghana.

The team event uses a relay scoring system. Each set is a race to 55 points across five matches, with each match ending when one side reaches the next multiple of 11 (11, 22, 33, 44, 55). The score carries over from one match to the next, so every point counts. First team to win two sets takes the tie.
