FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
For thousands of young people across Hawke’s Bay, our courts are where it starts.
From those very first toddler programmes and first introductions to sport, through school competitions, development programmes and representative pathways, Rodney Green Arenas provides a place for young people to play, learn, compete and grow.
For some, it’s about having fun, making friends and being active. For others, those first steps onto court can become a pathway through representative sport, high-performance competition and even a future career in professional sport.
We’re proud to provide a space where those journeys can begin — whatever the destination.
Your Community. Endless Possibilities.

THANK YOU, BOBBY FOUNDATION!
A big thank you to Bobby Foundation, one of our valued community funders, for their recent support towards the purchase of new futsal goal nets for Rodney Green Arenas.
Funding like this helps us continue to maintain and improve the equipment available across our facilities, ensuring our local clubs, schools, community groups and players have quality facilities to train, play and compete in.
Every contribution makes a difference, and we’re incredibly grateful to organisations like Bobby Foundation who invest back into facilities and initiatives that benefit our wider Hawke’s Bay community.
Thank you, Bobby Foundation, for your support and partnership. 🙌

PGA Stadium is getting a whole new look. 🖤

With the support of NZCT, Four Winds Foundation and Trillian Trust, the interior painting of the stadium is underway — transforming the space with a bold, modern blackout feel.

It’s a big visual change for one of the busiest spaces at Rodney Green Arenas and a refresh that will completely change the atmosphere inside the stadium.

Investment into projects like this helps us keep improving and evolving our facilities, ensuring Pettigrew Green Arena remains a space suited to the wide range of sport, events and community activity it hosts throughout the year.

We’re grateful to NZCT, Four Winds Foundation and Trillian Trust for backing this project and helping make the transformation possible.

700,000+ visits. That’s a lot more than just a number. 🧡
Every year, hundreds of thousands of visits are made through the doors of Rodney Green Arenas and they’re all here for something different.
Sport. Events. Tournaments. School competitions. Community programmes. Cultural celebrations. Fitness. Rehabilitation. Exhibitions. Or simply coming along to support someone else.
What we love most is seeing just how many different parts of our community come together under one roof.
From first-time visitors to people who walk through our doors every week, this is your community venue and we’re proud to be a place where so much happens.
Your Community. Endless Possibilities.

Every week, our Arenas bring people together to play, connect, make friends and be part of something. From social sport and community programmes to competitions, events and new experiences, our facility is a place for people of all ages and abilities to come together.
Because a great facility isn’t just about the courts or the space, it’s about the people who fill it, the connections made and the community that grows within it.
