π A Massive Acknowledgement to Three Local CHB Boys Competing at the U18 Boys Basketball Nationals in Auckland! π
A huge congratulations to Hayden Hemi (left) and JD Mananes (right), who both attend CHB College and continue to lead the school in the top Premier Hawkeβs Bay competition. These young men should be incredibly proud of everything they have achieved so far through their dedication, hard work, and commitment to the game.
Also representing Central Hawkeβs Bay is Prys Edwards (centre), who attends Napier Boysβ High School and is a member of their powerhouse Senior A team, one of the top basketball teams in the country. Prys continues to show outstanding growth and development both on and off the court.
CHB can be extremely proud of these three young athletes as they represent our region at the U18 Boys Basketball Nationals. The team currently sits at 2 wins and 2 losses, competing hard against some of the best young basketballers in New Zealand.
We wish Hayden, JD, Prys, and their teammates all the best for the remainder of the tournament. Keep flying the CHB and JHBD flag high! ππ½π

π A Huge Thank You to Michelle and her team at Centralines Sports Complex, along with a special thank you to Centralines π
As we look ahead to Terms 3 and 4, we want to take a moment to acknowledge and express our sincere appreciation to Michelle, the entire team at Centralines Sports Complex and Centralines.
Centralines Sports Complex
Centralines
Centralines, along with Michelle and her team, have been a major part of our programme, helping make these basketball opportunities possible for our young athletes. The ongoing support, partnership, and access to the stadium have played a huge role in the growth and success of our development programme.
Without this support many of these opportunities simply wouldnβt be available. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to supporting basketball in our community and providing a place where our ballers can learn, develop, and grow their love for the game.
Thank you for continuing to invest in our rangatahi and helping us create positive opportunities both on and off the court. πππ
