2026 Bowls North Harbour NZ Masters
Warkworth does well this week at the Masters. Beautiful weather and fantastic games.

55-69yr Men's Fours
The composite team including Steve and Guy made it through to the Semi Finals. They were holding 12-8 on the last end to win, unfortunately the composite team from Epsom took a drive with the last bowl of the game and put the jack in the ditch to take 5 points and became the lucky winners 13-12. What a semi-final.

70+ Women's Pairs
The composite team of Penny and Geri also made it to the semi-finals. I watched them play the day before. Beautiful bowling from both ladies. Takapuna took out the game 13-9. Well done.

70+ Mixed Pairs
Wendy and Ross joined forces for the day and became the Section winners and played on again in Final Round 1. Unfortunately going down 13-10 to a composite team.

From what I saw and from what I hear we played well and all enjoyed the comradery of the Masters.
Well done Warkworth.

Those that took the honours were:
The Nork Webber morning drawn pairs Dave R and Todd.
The Stan Gubb 2-4-2 drawn pairs Kevin and Brian.
Congratulations Dave R, Todd, Kevin and Brian.

The May Civil Tray DSE Triples was played on Wednesday the 30th of September.
A great day enjoyed by all. Thank you to all bowlers for the support of all teams. But only one team could be the super stars of super women. Congratulations Team Michelle, Sue and Lorraine. Those happy faces below well deserved to hold the Tray.

27/09/2026

The Thomson Cup a DAC 2-4-2 pairs was held on 26 September 2026, on what was a blustery and rainy day. Not an ideal day to play bowls in but we pushed on to to find our winners of the day.
Congratulations Fran and Dave R seen below proudly hold the Cup. Our runners up Kevin and Lorraine.
Thank you all for competing so gallantly on a day more suited to a fire side chair.
Our president Hugh presenting the cup as seen below.
