BBNZ are incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of a legend of the New Zealand NBL.
Benny Anthony Snr was a true legend of the game. Over an 18-season career he made a huge impact as a player before going on to contribute as a coach in the 1990’s. He will be sorely missed by the New Zealand basketball community.
BBNZ sends our deepest thoughts and prayers to Benny Anthony Jr, and the rest of the Anthony family at this time.
