We get a lot of questions about our men’s super warm winter jackets and jerseys... Patriot, Jack Frost, Allsort, Magma, and Joker. We’re also working on some new designs, with a few exciting options already in the pipeline.

The Patriot and Jack Frost are built for tough New Zealand winter conditions, designed to keep you properly warm when winter really kicks in. Perfect for the morning commute or those long cold rides when the Wellington southerly is biting and the puddles are icy. They’re roomy enough to layer up with one or two base layers when the temperature really drops.

The Allsort, Magma, and Joker are still warm, but not quite as heavy-duty as the Patriot or Jack Frost. Think cold mornings where you’ll start with a base layer underneath, but once the sun comes up and the ride heats up, you can peel layers off without feeling like you’re broiling.

Just arrived… Dirtbags Men’s Baggy Bike Shorts and Padded Undershorts

Tested on the New Zealand Enduro circuit and refined using direct rider feedback, the Dirtbags deliver a knockout blend of value, durability, and performance.

Built tough where it counts, the Dirtbags shorts feature reinforced double snap fasteners, durable YKK zips throughout, and rubber waist adjusters that lock in your fit without fuss. An internal waist tape keeps the shorts planted while you’re on the bike, no slipping, no readjusting mid‑run.

Expanded two‑way stretch across the rear panel maximizes airflow and unrestricted motion, giving you the freedom to climb, descend, and send without a second thought. Storage is sorted with two deep pockets: one zipped phone pocket engineered to keep your device secure and completely stable, and one open pocket for quick‑access essentials.

Looking for winter cycle pants that actually keep you warm?

We sell a lot of Men’s and Women’s Fur Seals and continue to get some fantastic reviews. Throwback photo of Sophia and Ross from a few winters back putting them to the test out on the trails.

They’ve been tested riding through some of New Zealand’s coldest conditions, down to 0°C, and comfortably handle even colder temperatures thanks to their seriously effective insulation.

Designed with a multi-panel ergonomic fit, they move naturally on the bike while sharkskin fabric protects the knees and flanks from wind and cold. An outer windproof layer keeps the elements out, while the full fleece lining keeps the warmth in.

Third time’s a charm! Wellington really turned it on for today!

Always a fabulous day out, with some close racing (as always) with Had a few mechanicals and definitely thought about throwing in the towel halfway with home very close...but I’m glad I didn’t. There’s nothing quite like pushing through, and to take 1st in the 100k at the ripe old age of 51 is pretty special.

Sophia took on her first 50k, tackling some of the very best Wellington tracks, so proud of her effort out there.

Huge thanks to Bengy and the team for putting on an awesome race. And it’s always a boost getting cheered on by the home crowd. Big thanks as well to and for supporting Sophia and I you lifted my spirits out there. Legends!
