🔥 THE HEAVYWEIGHTS ARE COMING TO THE MAT! 🔥

Get ready for another hard-hitting matchup at the 1st Baguio City Jail Male Dormitory Cordillera Jail Jitsu Grappling Tournament!

This time, the Under 100 KG No-Gi Bout brings together Jigs Quesada of Gridlock MMA/Overlimit and Joshua “Majinbu” Madegyem of La Trinidad Jiu Jitsu.

⚔️ JIGS QUESADA trains under Prof. Dave Galera of Gridlock MMA/Overlimit. Away from the mats, Jigs works professionally as a chef, but on competition day, he'll be serving up something completely different—a recipe of pressure, technique, and determination. With his combat-sports training behind him, Jigs is ready to bring the heat when the referee gives the signal.

💥 JOSHUA “MAJINBU” MADEGYEM trains under Prof. Gibran Langbayan, bringing his own style and intensity into this Under 100 KG No-Gi clash. Known by the nickname “Majinbu,” Joshua now steps onto the mat with one objective: put his training to the test and make a statement.

UNDER 100 KG. NO GI. NO EASY ROUNDS.

Two competitors. One mat. One opportunity to prove who can impose their game.

🔥 THE GI MAIN EVENT HAS ARRIVED. 🔥

ONE GI. ONE MAT. ONE MAIN EVENT.

The Superfight lineup with a matchup built for the spotlight:

🥋 PROFESSOR DAVE GALERA of GRIDLOCK MMA / OVERLIMIT
vs.
🥋 PROFESSOR AFONSO CEGO of SHOWFIGHT DREAM TEAM

🔥 UNDER 85 KG • GI MAIN EVENT SUPERFIGHT 🔥

A meeting of Professors who have spent years building athletes, developing teams, and living the martial arts lifestyle.

🥋 DAVE GALERA
A Black Belt and Head Coach, Dave Galera brings a résumé that extends far beyond the local mats. Known as “The Scarecrow,” Galera made history as a Filipino MMA fighter, competing professionally and earning a place in the UFC. But Dave's competitive career didn't stop at MMA, SJJIF records show him competing under Over Limit Jiu Jitsu. Now, the man who has competed on some of the biggest stages in combat sports returns to the Gi.

And standing across from him is another Professor ready to represent his team.

🥋 AFONSO CEGO
A Black Belt and Head Coach of Showfight Dream Team, Professor Alfonso Cego brings his own experience, technical knowledge, and coaching leadership into this main-event showdown. As a head coach, he doesn't just train for himself—he develops athletes who trust him to sharpen their skills, prepare for competition, and step onto the mat with confidence. Now, the coach steps out from behind the corner and back onto the competition mat. This time, he's the one wearing the Gi.

This is what makes the Main Event different.

THE COACHES BECOME THE COMPETITORS.
THE STUDENTS WATCH THEIR COACHES GO TO WAR.

🔥 EXPERIENCE vs. EXPERIENCE.
🥋 BLACK BELT vs. BLACK BELT.
⚡ HEAD COACH vs. HEAD COACH.

No coaching from the corner can replace what happens when the match begins.
Just skill, preparation, timing, composure, and heart.

Get ready for the Under 70 KG No-Gi match at the 1st Baguio City Jail Male Dormitory Cordillera Jail Jitsu Grappling Tournament!

September 26–27, 2026 | Old Camp John Hay Office, Baguio City

🟣 CHRISTIAN LEONIDAZ MINDARO
Christian is a Purple Belt under Prof. Dave Galera of Gridlock MMA/Overlimit, bringing experience and proven competitive ability into this matchup. His competition record includes multiple podium finishes in SJJIF-sanctioned events, including gold and silver finishes in No-Gi competition and podium performances in both featherweight and open-weight divisions.

With an established competition background and the technical foundation of Overlimit, he enters this Superfight with one thing in mind: impose his game.

🔵 KOY BERNARDINO
Standing across from him is Koy Bernardino, a Blue Belt from La Trinidad Jiu Jitsu, training under Coach Morizon Jose and Prof. Gibran Langbayan. Koy now gets the opportunity to test his skills against a higher-ranked opponent in a No-Gi Superfight where technique, timing, conditioning, and composure will all be put to the test.

This isn't simply a battle between a Purple Belt and a Blue Belt.

It's a test of experience versus hunger ---- the established competitor against the challenger looking to make a statement.

And once the grips are gone and the match begins, there are no easy positions.

But here's the bigger question:

WHO'S NEXT?

If you've been training, drilling, sparring, and telling yourself that you're ready for competition—this is your chance to find out.

Don't wait until you're “good enough.”
Step onto the mat and test what you've built in the gym.
