𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗦𝗕𝗩𝗟 (𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲) 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟲, 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

This decision gives all teams more time to prepare and get game-ready for the league. It also provides our participating LGUs and the technical committee the breathing space needed to ensure everything is set for a smooth opening.

We will continue coordinating with LGUs, team managers, coaches, players, and other stakeholders to honor all commitments as best as we can.

IN PHOTOS: Karl Geofrey L. Chan II, Executive Board Member of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF), Head of the PNVF Coaches Commission and team manager of Alas Pilipinas U16 graced the ESBVL Refresher Course for volleyball officials and coaches.

Commissioners Jossa Legion Cardona and Jeremiah Lavado led the successful conduct of the training in collaboration with the office of Board Member Miles Tiu in strengthening the league’s commitment to elevating officiating standards in the preparation of the up-coming tournament.

Contest Rationale:

Mutya ng ESBVL is a beauty and brains competition held to choose an individual who will represent and help promote not only tourism activities but citizens awareness of the ill-effects of drug abuse in the province of Eastern Samar.

Contestants must be:

• A resident of the Municipality representing
• 18-25 years old, single {no child}
• At least 5 feet 3 inches tall
• Should only prepare the following:
• Sportswear
• with formal declaration of approval/endorsement from the team management

*for the Q&A, questions about sports, anti drug campaign and current events will be asked.

Criteria for Judging:

1. Physical Appearance (Beauty of Face and Figure) – 40%
2. Intelligence and Communication Ability (Firm grasp of subject matter, Fluency, Candidness and Substance) – 20%
3. Poise and Bearing (Stage projection, Deportment and Impact) – 30%
4. Audience Appeal – 10%

Judges for the said competition will be chosen by the Organizing Committee.
