GOLD IN GDYNIA ONCE AGAIN! 🥇🏆⛵️

Back-to-back winners on the Gdynia waters! Right after taking top honors in the Youth League, HRM Racing Youth kept the momentum rolling and claimed 1st place in Round 3 of the Polish Sailing League - 1st LEAGUE ! 🔥🌊

It was a true test of versatility and mental toughness all weekend long:

➡️ Saturday: Tricky, unpredictable offshore light breeze. From shifting winds to complete flukes and weather turnarounds, the team stayed focused, bagging strong 2nd-place finishes to close the day in 2nd overall!
➡️ Sunday: High stakes and tense moments! Despite taking two penalties in one of the races, the crew fought all the way back to 5th place. In the decisive final race, they executed brilliant tactical cover on the 2nd-place team to secure the regatta win! 🎯👏

Ready for Round 3! ⛵️💨 - 1st League

HRM Racing Youth is back on the water tomorrow for Round 3 - 1st League of the Polish Sailing League! (Polska Liga Żeglarska)

After 2 rounds, we currently hold 4th place with 33 points - tied with OGR Olsztyńska Grupa Regatowa in 3rd. The battle for the podium is on! 🔥

Training day report from our crew:
Today brought strong winds, solid side waves 🌊, and some thrilling planing sessions! Although the forecast predicts lighter, offshore winds for the weekend - similar to our recent Youth League regatta - the team is feeling fully warmed up, sharp, and confident. Since we’ve had more recent time racing in these conditions compared to our competitors, we’re ready to use that edge! 🎯

⛵️ GDYNIA ROUND 3 OF EKSTRAKLASA WRAPPED! 🌊

What an intense and unpredictable weekend in Gdynia! Round 3️⃣ of the Polish Ekstraklasa brought fast sailing, tricky conditions, and plenty of drama on the water⚡️.

On Saturday, we felt fast and consistent, but a technical gear failure - a dropped mainsail mid-race due to an uncheckable knot issue on our assigned boat - forced us into an unavoidable DNF ❌. Moving into Sunday, the offshore breeze shifted quickly, and while we had to adapt our strategy on the fly, the disappointment came when our redress request for the technical issue wasn't granted 🔴✋.

While it’s always tough to take a heavy point penalty for something outside your control, that’s racing, and we respect the official decisions. Without that setback, our pure performance on the water would have landed us on the podium. In the end, we finished in 7️⃣th place overall, just a few points off the top 5.

Despite the outcome, we’re keeping our heads high! 👊 Our speed was great, teamwork was on point, and we know our potential. We take this lesson with humility and stay fully focused on the big picture - we’re still in the game and fighting for the overall season podium! 🏆🔥

⛵️GDYNIA, WE ARE READY TO ATTACK! Round 3 of the Polish Ekstraklasa is here 🌊

After an incredible victory in Puck for Round 2, we’re back in action for Round 3 of the Polish Ekstraklasa here in Gdynia! ⚡️

We're currently sitting in 4th place overall with 32 pts, just 5 points off the top! 📊 But we aren't overthinking the standings - our mindset is simple: we attack! 👊💥

Official practice day is wrapped up today, and racing kicks off tomorrow through Sunday. The weather forecast is predicting heavy storms for Saturday, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for great racing conditions! 🌩️🤞

Special inspiration comes from our HRM Youth team, who just crushed it here earlier this week by taking 1st place in Round 3 of the Youth League! 🥇 Now it’s time for the senior squad to follow in their footsteps! 🔥

🏆 HRM RACING YOUTH WINS ROUND 3 OF THE YOUTH SAILING LEAGUE! 🥇⛵

We did it! Our Youth Team, led by skipper Michał Krasodomski, secured the overall win in Round 3 of the Polish Youth Sailing League in Gdynia! Following our success in Sopot, this marks our second podium finish of the season, solidifying our position at the top of the general leaderboard! 📊🔥

It was an intense couple of days on the water:
🔹 Day 1: Tricky, shifty off-shore winds! From intense racing to floating gennaker-less in dying breeze - our crew handled the wild fleet reshuffles like pros, closing the day 1 point ahead of AZS Politechnika Gdańska.
🔹 Day 2: Light southern winds, rain clouds, and dropping breeze testing everyone's patience. Despite tough conditions and 6 tight flights completed, incoming weather cut the final race short, but our steady performance was more than enough to claim 1st place by a 1-point margin! 💥

Round 3 of the Polish Youth Sailing League kicks off today in Gdynia, and HRM Racing Youth is ready to hit the water!

After a month-long break since Puck, the crew spent the last three days working hard on the water to lock back into peak rhythm. Yesterday’s final session in race-like conditions gave us the ultimate warmup before today's battles.

We’re currently sitting in 2nd place overall - just 1 point behind the leader! - and we’re fully focused on pushing for the top spot this week. 💪🏆

PUCK TOOK THE PODIUM. WE’RE TAKING THE LESSON. 🌊🧠

What a wild, exhausting, and intense weekend of racing in the 2nd Round of the Polish Sailing League (Polska Liga Żeglarska | Klubowe Mistrzostwa Polski w Żeglarstwie). Puck definitely didn’t break its promise of extreme conditions!

🌊 We started the round with a tricky 3rd and 6th, but after a quick team reset and some tactical adjustments, we found our groove. In howling winds 🌪️, racing on reefed mainsails and without gennakers, we clicked and started dropping consistent 1sts and 2nds. We ended the day proud, locked in, and ready to attack.

💨 Sunday brought a whole different beast. The rain and heavy clouds 🌧️ made the wind incredibly variable, with shifts turning the course into a tactical minefield.

With only 10 out of 16 planned races completed before the rest were called off, every single point mattered. In the final race, we were leading the fleet, a finish that would have secured us 2nd or 3rd step on the overall podium. But Puck had other plans. A late mishap with our gennaker on the final downwind leg cost us dearly, dropping us to 5th in that race, and locking us into 5️⃣th place overall (tied on points with 4th).

🧠💪 Missing the podium by a literal whisker hurts, especially when we had our hands on it. But as a relatively new crew, these are the high-stakes lessons we need. The speed is there, the chemistry is building, and the hunger is bigger than ever. We win together, we learn together.

🏁 IT’S RACE DAY IN PUCK! 🌪️🇵🇱 1st LEAGUE - ROUND 2

The waiting is over, and the battle for Round 2 - 1st League of the Polish Sailing League Polska Liga Żeglarska | Klubowe Mistrzostwa Polski w Żeglarstwie begins TODAY! 🏎️💨

Puck welcomed us with absolute Armageddon yesterday – heavy rain, howling winds, and practice sessions so wild they had to ban gennakers and force reefed sails! 🚫⛵ Instead of burning energy fighting the storm on Friday, we played it smart: we focused on a team gym session, solid recovery, and sharpening our minds. 🧠💪

Why are we feeling confident as we head out on the water this morning?

💨 We spent Monday through Wednesday training intensely in brutal, high-wind conditions. With a tough forecast locked in for the weekend, we are ready for whatever the bay throws at us.

🔥 We proved we have the speed to win it all last time out. The lessons from our 4th-place finish are learned, the slate is wiped clean, and we are hunting for the top spot.

The strategy is set, the chemistry is there, and the energy is hitting the roof. It’s time to send it! 🚀

🏆 CHAMPIONS OF THE EKSTRAKLASA ROUND 2 IN PUCK! 🏆

What a weekend, and what a comeback!

After finishing 9th in Sopot, we headed into Puck with one clear goal in mind: to fight for the top spot. And we did it! 💪HRM Racing takes 1st place in the second round of the Polish Ekstraklasa! 🥇⛵️

The weekend was a masterclass in staying calm and trusting our flow. Everything just clicked on the water. 🌊 As the team recapped, we kept a cool head, dealt with every situation calmly, and felt a fantastic vibe within the crew.

It wasn't a walk in the park, though! On the final day, the forecast looked like we wouldn't even get to race, but the wind surprised us, and the battles were fierce. We had a slight hiccup toward the end, getting a bit too locked into a tactical fight with one of our rivals, but we entered the final race with a solid lead and a clear objective. We executed the plan perfectly. 🔥
