🏆 CHAMPIONS OF THE EKSTRAKLASA ROUND 2 IN PUCK! 🏆

What a weekend, and what a comeback!

After finishing 9th in Sopot, we headed into Puck with one clear goal in mind: to fight for the top spot. And we did it! 💪HRM Racing takes 1st place in the second round of the Polish Ekstraklasa! 🥇⛵️

The weekend was a masterclass in staying calm and trusting our flow. Everything just clicked on the water. 🌊 As the team recapped, we kept a cool head, dealt with every situation calmly, and felt a fantastic vibe within the crew.

It wasn't a walk in the park, though! On the final day, the forecast looked like we wouldn't even get to race, but the wind surprised us, and the battles were fierce. We had a slight hiccup toward the end, getting a bit too locked into a tactical fight with one of our rivals, but we entered the final race with a solid lead and a clear objective. We executed the plan perfectly. 🔥

Round 2 of the Polish Ekstraklasa is here! ⛵️🇵🇱

We are officially in Puck, and the final preparations for the second round of the Polish Sailing League (Polska Liga Żeglarska) are underway right now!

We’ve already completed our first training session. 🎙️As Kuba Rodziewicz reported fresh off the water, the focus today is all about finding our natural flow, loosening up, and debriefing our strategy. Right now, the team is back out on the bay for their second afternoon training slot, squeezing out every bit of practice before tomorrow.

The sun is shining, the team atmosphere is fantastic, and even though the forecast predicts rather light winds for the weekend, we are ready to adapt. ☀️💨

We are heading into this round with a more relaxed, focused approach, but one thing remains set in stone - the goal hasn't changed. We are here to fight for the top spot! 🏆🔥

We are incredibly proud to share that our racer, Michał Krasodomski (Michał Krasodomski), is currently dominating the Open & U29 Finn European Championship on his home waters in Gdynia! 🇵🇱🔥

Against a massive fleet of 108 sailors, Michał had an absolutely stellar first day:
🏆 Race 1: 1st place after an epic battle!
💪 Race 2: An incredible comeback from 35th at the first mark to finish in the top 5!

After Day 1, Michał is sitting at the overall top of the leaderboard! 🥇 Splendid job, Michał! We couldn't be prouder of this opening performance! 👏

⛵️ A tough weekend of racing - P4 in Round 2 of the Youth League! 🇵🇱

Our HRM Racing Youth team left it all on the water during an intense weekend of racing. It was a true test of skill, with 30 qualifying races and 1 high-stakes final for the top 8 teams.

The conditions were wild—shifting western winds oscillating by dozens of degrees and sweeping in at over 20 knots! 💨

🥉 3rd place: AZS Politechnika Gdańska

Our HRM Racing Youth team fought hard and finished in a solid 4th place overall! 👏

Here is what our crew had to say about the weekend:

🎙️"We were aiming for the podium, so 4th place leaves us hungry for more. The first day was tricky with highly unstable, shifting winds that completely mixed up the fleet. After a slower start, we adjusted our strategy and began pushing upward.

Day 2️⃣ brought better stability, great starts, and several top-three finishes, including a few wins. We faced some technical gremlins—including a broach where our sail got trapped under the boat, forcing a DNF—but we bounced back mentally to win the very next race. We even led the final before another minor issue pushed us to 4th. Considering we were in 9th place after day one, it was a great recovery."

With these results, the KS AZS AWFIS Gdańsk crew takes the lead in the overall season standings, but HRM Racing is breathing down their necks—trailing by just a single point! 🔥 The battle for the championship is wide open, and we are ready to attack in the next rounds.

READY FOR YOUTH LEAGUE ROUND 2! ⛵️🔥 Sopot, we are back!

After taking the gold in Round 1, our HRM Racing Youth team is locked, loaded, and ready to defend the top spot. 🏆🇵🇱

The schedule threw us a little curveball today with only one afternoon session on the water. But we turned it into a win—using the morning for some solid team integration, coffee, and strategy talks, before hitting the bay at 14:00 for a blistering 2-hour practice.

The verdict straight from the crew? The boat feels incredibly fast! We lined up for several practice races and won the vast majority of them. Today's wind gave us a perfect preview of what’s coming, the team vibe is soaring, and we are ready for whatever the Baltic throws at us. 🌊💨

EKSTRAKLASA ROUND 1: High highs, tough lows, and big lessons learned in Sopot! ⛵️🇵🇱

The opening round of the Polish Ekstraklasa is officially in the books. Sopot threw everything it had at us, and while a 9th place finish wasn’t what we were aiming for, we're leaving with a head full of conclusions.

Day 1️⃣ started strong, but left us wanting more. We had a light, stable breeze coming from the sea and felt solid in everything we did, securing a great 1-1 result. Unfortunately, the dropping wind cut the day short, and only two races could be completed. 🌊💨

Day 2️⃣ brought a total shift. The wind spun 180°, cranking up to 20 knots close to the shore. With massive shifts, sudden gusts, and unexpected holes, the racing conditions got highly demanding. 📈

To be completely honest, we put too much pressure on ourselves chasing perfection on Sunday. We lost that natural flow, collected some unnecessary penalties, and struggled to find our rhythm in the tricky shifts.

No rest for the driven! Fresh off securing our ticket to the SCL Final in Kiel, the crew is already back on the water and locked in. Tomorrow, the fight for the Polish Ekstraklasa kicks off right here in Sopot! 🇵🇱🏆

Today was all about fine-tuning. We hit the water for the official practice day to make sure every gear on board is turning perfectly. As the guys reported straight from the boat: "All the cogs are working seamlessly. We only used one slot today, but everything is dialed in and the setup feels great." 🛠️👌

The energy is high, the mindset is focused, and we are heading into these two days of intense racing with great vibes and top-notch motivation.

⛵️ Emotional Rollercoaster at 1st Round of the 1st League! 🇵🇱

What a wild opening weekend in the First League of the Polish Sailing League !
Our crew — Wiktor Miałkowski, Alicja Tutkowska, Michał Krasodomski, and Borys Podumis — battled hard through shifting conditions, massive comebacks, and high-stakes drama to secure a strong 4th place overall! 🏎️💨

Here is how the weekend unfolded:

🏁 Saturday: We kicked off strong with 4 top-two finishes! However, two tougher races (finishing 6th and 9th) due to a few mistakes shook up the leaderboard and temporarily pushed us from 1st down to 6th. But we took the lessons, regrouped, and knew exactly what to fix. 💪

🚀 Sunday: The comeback was real! We had an absolute stellar day on the water, winning multiple races and showing the highest form in the entire fleet. Heading into the grand double-points final, we climbed all the way back up to 2nd place, sitting just 1 point away from the leaders! 🔥

💔 The Final: Sailing is a game of inches and high adrenaline. We nailed a great start and were leading the pack, hunting for that overall victory. Unfortunately, a minimal OCS (false start) called us back✋. Despite fighting back, the penalty cost us the podium, dropping us into a tie for 3rd and ultimately landing us in 4th place overall. It stings because the gold was right there within our grasp, but that is racing!
