SPES Historical Fencing Gear

A custom HEMA set built for those who like their gear with a bit of presence and a lot of class.

This modified Attila 350N jacket comes paired with dedicated trousers, creating a cohesive silhouette in deep dark green. The cut stays functional for fencing, but the detailing pushes it a step further - especially the chest braiding and button layout, which give the whole piece a more refined, almost ceremonial character.

Today’s project is a steampunk coat with a distinct hint of vampiric style. The combination of black fabric and red detailing gives the whole piece a dark, mysterious character.

Women’s FG Light 350N ⚔️✨ A lighter take on our FG 350N, built on solutions from the AP Light Plus 350N, while still echoing the silhouette of 15th-century gambesons.

Designed for HEMA training at every level - from first sparring sessions to advanced drills. It works great as a base for both light and heavy gear setups, with room for extra protection when things get intense.

Fastened with a secure double closure (zipper + velcro), equipped with a blade catcher at the collar and straps for elbow overlays. Cut to the waist with side slits for better mobility and comfort in motion 🤺

Made from 350N puncture-resistant fabric with breathable 3D spacer mesh lining. Lightweight, flexible, and highly breathable - our lightest FG model yet .

This custom version features a striking bicolor design - combining deep blue and white panels for a refined but eye-catching look.

Designed for light HEMA training with arms such as sabre, rapier, and smallsword, the jacket offers mobility, comfort, and breathability thanks to its mesh lining, shoulder padding, and 350N puncture-resistant fabric.

The Officer 350N is inspired by late 19th–early 20th century officer uniforms and based on classic HEMA fencing aesthetics, with Alfred Hutton among its key inspirations.

Designed for light HEMA training with weapons like rapier, smallsword, and sabre, it works for both beginners and experienced fencers.

This custom version adds a twist - a colorful historical pattern on the body fabric, giving a more expressive take on an otherwise clean, elegant design.

Made from 350N puncture-resistant fabric, it features an asymmetrical closure (zipper + 9 snaps), blade catcher collar, shoulder padding, elbow attachment points, and a rear waist adjustment strap.

Lightweight, breathable mesh lining ensures comfort and airflow during training.

The second version of the well-known PRO set — shoulders and upper arms — was created for users who want to equip their jacket with additional PRO plastic overlays. The shoulder protectors have been upgraded and better adapted to the needs of HEMA practitioners.

The overlays fit most HEMA jackets and can handle every type of simulator. Their universal design makes them suitable for both men and women.
