Placing a driver monitoring camera directly in front of the driver often creates a design problem: how do you position the camera without disrupting the instrument cluster design? 🚗
At , Smart Eye and Visteon are demonstrating a jointly developed LCD instrument cluster with integrated ( ), designed to preserve both display quality and reliable DMS imaging within a single integrated system.
Integrating DMS behind an LCD display has long been a technical challenge due to poor near-infrared transmission and image distortion through the display stack.
The joint solution addresses those challenges while maintaining display consistency and imaging performance.
