Join us for a Brazilian evening packed with music and dancing on Sunday April 12 in the south of Stockholm ✨🇧🇷
Forró is a Brazilian dance that anyone can try. Simple steps, friendly people, and music that makes it hard to stand still. We start gently, learn together, and soon the boat turns into a cosy party 💃🪩🕺
Invite your friends and family to join us. No partner or previous experience needed. Bring the people you care about and come as you are!

Nearest station is Mariatorget using the Torkkel Knutssonsgatan exit, followed by about a 10 minute walk toward the water. The boat is located between Märtha Restaurant and the Rygerfjord boat.

💡 Useful information
☑️ Dance workshop
A guided introduction for first timers and a warm up for returning dancers.
☑️ Food and drinks
We sell alcohol free drinks only. You are welcome to bring water if needed.
☑️ Alcohol
Personal alcohol may not be brought into the venue.
☑️ No partner needed
Partner rotation during the workshop and dancing together during the party. Coming solo is normal and welcome.
☑️ Dress code
Wear comfortable shoes. Indoor shoes preferred. Clean your shoes before entering or bring a spare pair to protect the dance floor.
☑️ Cloakroom
Unguarded and free to use. Please leave jackets there for fire safety and keep only valuables with you on the dance floor.
💚 Wellness allowance
Our workshops qualify for Friskvårdsbidrag depending on your employer.
The party alone does not qualify.

Forró is a Brazilian partner dance with simple steps and feel good live music. It comes from Northeast Brazil and is now danced worldwide. We share this culture in Stockholm through our nonprofit events.
