Summer is officially here, and the studio doors are closed for the holidays.
Looking back at the past few months, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who stepped onto our floor. From the musicians who brought the room to life to the students, social dancers, and listeners who make Chicago a community, thank you.
We wish you all a beautiful, restful summer filled with good music and warm evenings.
Keep a little rhythm in your steps, and we will see you back on Hornsgatan before you know it!

Tonight, we gather for the final Chicago Live Wednesdays of the season before we close for the summer break.
It has been a wonderful term filled with dedicated dancers, fine music, and new faces joining our community. Tonight is about celebrating all of that on the floor one last time with The Hot Shots spinning the tunes from 20.00 to 23.00.

Whether you come to dance every song or simply to share a drink and listen to great jazz with friends, you are warmly welcome. If you want to brush up on your basics or try it out for the first time, our Lindy Hop drop-in class begins at 19.00.

Entry for the social dance is 150 kr (100 kr discounted).
Let’s make this final night on the floor a beautiful memory to carry into the summer.

Midweek dancing returns this Wednesday as Chicago Live Wednesdays welcomes the Tommy Löbel Swing Band to the studio.

Join us for another beautiful evening of live music, social dancing, and connection. Our floor is ready for everyone, whether you plan to dance all night or prefer to sit back, listen to classic jazz, and take in the atmosphere.

We begin with the Lindy Hop drop-in class at 19.00: no prior registration needed.
The live music starts at 20.00.

Welcome to the floor!

Today, we gather for a special Friday After Work themed class focusing on Ballroom Blues, Dips, and Tricks.

Inspired by the styles of the historic Savoy Ballroom, this session is designed to level up your slow dancing and add a bit of showboating to your repertoire. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn from one another, chat, and strengthen the community spirit.

The doors open at 17.00 if you wish to enjoy a drink and mingle before we start.
The class runs from 17.30 to 18.30.

Afterward, the space remains open until 19.00, and those who wish can move down the street together to Zinkens Krog to keep the conversation going.

Please note that for this specific theme, you will need to bring a fixed partner. Ask someone from your current class or a friendly face from the social dance floor.
