Many clients have asked me when should they plan for a baby in accordance to zodiac sign?

I would ask for the husband's surname.

For instance, if the husband’s surname is 林 (Lin), can they have a baby in Goat year 2027 so that baby will have a good head start in life?

The answer is yes.

The main reference point is the year pillar which comprises the zodiac.

We want the surname and Year pillar to comply to certain auspicious Bazi principles:

1. 三合
2. 三会
3. 五行相生

also,

4. 得食
5. 得地

Goat zodiac does not like to see chinese words with water element because 子未相害.

PS: This system is based on lunar calendar year for the zodiac sign.

Reason behind Chinese Name Taboo #4 & #5

Do refer to my previous post on "10 Tips on What to avoid in Chinese Names".

Woman to avoid using masculine name because generally we prefer them to behave in a more lady-like demeanour.

Next, 亚 and 小 especially when it is used in the middle name (representing spouse palace) of a woman, can mean during the relationship the woman is not being treated as priority.

In some cases, the woman can be a 2nd wife.

欣 when we dissect the word, there is a 欠 (to owe). So, the connotation is less auspicious.

In Chinese Name system (which comprises 拆字学，八字学，形态 etc) we prefer to use words that carry positive meaning and symbol.

Also, whether the name is good or not also depends on the interaction with the DOB (zodiac) of the person.

Reason behind Chinese Name Taboo #3

Do refer to my previous post on "10 Tips on What to avoid in Chinese Names".

When middle and last Chinese Names are using the exact same words, it is akin to Fu Yin effect (emotional events) in Bazi.

Middle name governs relationship with spouse, peers, colleagues and siblings.

Last name governs relationship with children and subordinate.

Based on past experience (usually for ladies), there will be challenges in spousal relationship.

Nevertheless, the person can still be successful in career, business and other aspects.

Reason behind Chinese Name Taboo #1

Do refer to my previous post on "10 Tips on What to avoid in Chinese Names".

~ Surname, middle name and last name that can be split into left and right. For instance (hypothetical name), 林明和. ~

Explanation - Please see picture. In the Chinese Name system, this is known as Kun Image - water flow away (付诸流水).

People whose name structure appears like this implies the person putting in alot of effort, making sacrifices for others but the reward or appreciation is not there.

Another hypothetical example will be 刘秋珍.

So, it is good to make a wish during that day.

In this coming Mid autumn festival, I have selected an auspicious time and direction for us to make a wish in accordance to Qi Men Dun Jia calculation.

On 25 Sept, between 5 to 7 pm, you can position yourself to face the east to make a wish or pray for good luck.

The actual moon will be also in the east. Coincidentally, the moon deity is also in the east palace coupled with good Qi Men such as Yi wood (nobleman) and Grow door (wealth).

There are also other auspicious Qi Men formations that are present like Human Escape, Sun Rise and Genuine Fake.

Have a happy and blessed mid-autumn festival celebration.

For the first time I am sharing with you what are the important considerations under the Chinese Name system (八字生肖姓名学）when I help a newborn (or children/adult) to calculate Chinese Name.

There are other rules to adhere to.

Of course, you will be asking the "whys" and the rationale behind the pointers.

Getting ready for our taoist blessing tomorrow for a client who wanted his personal chinese seals with his name engraved on it.

Engraving of chinese names onto the white jade seals (square symbolises nobleman and round is wealth) requires the calculation of Qi Men Dun Jia Tian Xing natal chart based on client’s bazi.

The Chinese seals system comes under the family of physiognomy alongside with feng shui, palmistry and face reading.
