The rookie has had a phenomenal six-race points-scoring streak heading into the summer break, and we can't wait to see him take on his first F1 night race at the this October!

A week ago, as part of our community outreach programme, students stepped Beyond the Track for an exclusive look into the people and careers behind the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix and the motorsport industry.
From embracing new opportunities and staying curious to thinking on your feet and adapting to change – these are just some of the key lessons shared across the three-day series 💭:

THE REIGNING WORLD CHAMPION RETURNS TO THE TOP 🏆
Norris converted pole into his and McLaren’s first win of the season — the first pole‑to‑victory at the since 2020 — finishing 15s clear of Verstappen, with Antonelli rounding up the podium in P3.
Teammate Piastri’s day went the other way, losing the lead after a coming-together with Sainz, landing the Spaniard a five-second penalty, before a gearbox failure ended his race and triggered a VSC.
Further back, Hamilton crossed the line fourth but a five-second penalty for pit lane speeding dropped him behind Leclerc instead. Russell had the tougher day of the two Mercedes drivers, but managed to recover to P7 after an early anti-stall issue that dropped him to 21st.
And now it’s time to box box box for the summer break before we are back to the F1 action in 4 weeks! ☀️

We kickstarted our first day of Beyond The Track at the Pit Building yesterday! 🎉

ROUND‑UP: ANTONELLI RETURNS TO GLORY 🇧🇪🏆
Antonelli claimed his sixth win of the season — and first since Monaco — beating Leclerc by 1.9 seconds, while Verstappen’s P3 marked Red Bull’s 300th podium in F1.
It was a different story for teammate Russell, whose race ended on Lap 1 after contact with Hamilton — a clash that also earned the Ferrari driver a five‑second penalty.
Hadjar drove from the back of the grid to P6, holding off Norris on tyres nearly 30 laps old, while Norris recovered from P13 to P7.
