Just a little over a week ago, we opened up the Public Speaking Society community and made our Impromptu Speaking module available for free as part of our 17-year celebration journey.
Today, we have crossed 35 members in the community.
Thank you to every single person who joined, introduced yourselves, attempted the weekly challenges, shared your thoughts, or simply took the first step to work on your communication skills.
Public speaking is not just about standing on stage. It is about learning how to think clearly, express yourself confidently, and communicate with people in everyday life.
What has encouraged me most is seeing people from different backgrounds come together to learn, practise, and support one another in a safe space.
We are still at the beginning, but I am excited about what this community can become over time.
If you have been wanting to work on your confidence, impromptu speaking, or communication skills, you are welcome to join us here:

17 years ago, I started this journey with a simple goal — to help people become more confident speakers.
Over the years, that mission has grown into something much bigger than I imagined. We’ve worked with students and adult learners, partnered with schools and organisations, and built a system that helps people not just speak… but think, structure, and communicate with clarity.
This May 2026 marks 17 years of doing this work.
And I’ve been thinking about how to celebrate it meaningfully.
Not with a big event. Not with a flashy campaign.
But by going back to what mattered from the start — giving value.
So here’s what we’re doing:
We’re providing our impromptu speaking module absolutely free.
If this is something you’ve been wanting to work on, you can access for free, the impromptu speaking module here:

Let’s keep building — one speaker at a time.
Tried a fortune teller machine yesterday — just for fun.
The reading came out:
Luck: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (6/6)
Work: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/6)
I’ll take that 🙂
It got me reflecting.
There is wisdom in understanding timing, energy, and alignment.
Sometimes, when things are in your favour, doors seem to open a little easier.
But even with good luck, the work still matters.
Showing up consistently.
Putting in the effort when no one is watching.
Being ready when opportunities appear.
Because maybe the real edge is this:
when strong timing meets consistent action.
That’s when things start to move.
Health: ⭐️⭐️ (2/6)
Perhaps this is a reminder to myself to work on my health and take breaks when needed.

Public Speaking Society is now live.
Over the years, I’ve trained students, professionals, and organisations across Singapore and beyond. One thing became very clear—
Progress doesn’t come from attending one session.
It comes from consistent practice, feedback, and being in the right environment.
That’s why I built this.
Public Speaking Society is not just a library of videos.
It is an online training ground — a place to sharpen your communication skills from anywhere, without needing to spend time travelling.
Inside, you’ll get:
1. Regularly Updated Resource Library – practical video lessons added over time so you can keep learning at your own pace
2. Weekly Challenges + Community – practise consistently, stay accountable, and grow with like-minded members
3. Weekly LIVE with Me (1 Hour) – interactive sessions where I coach, teach, and break down real speaking situations
This is where you go beyond the classroom.
Beyond one-off workshops.
Beyond just “learning techniques.”
You train. You apply. You improve.
And over time, you become someone who can think clearly and speak with confidence—under pressure, in real situations.
This has been built from scratch by me, and my mentor and investor — shaped by years of working with students who wanted a place to keep growing.
If you’ve been looking for that next step—this is it.

See you inside.
This is what I’ve been building — Public Speaking Society.
Not a course.
Not a library of videos.
It’s a community where people train together.
In the video, I’m giving you a look inside.
Over the years, we’ve tried different ways to support continued growth — Facebook groups, follow-up sessions, even having overseas clients fly into Singapore to train with us.
And across the board, the message has been the same.
“Is there a place where we can keep practising?”
“Somewhere structured… with guidance?”
Not just one-off training.
But a real practice ground.
So we created this community from scratch — to bring together like-minded individuals who are active, willing to contribute, and serious about improving.
A space where you get guidance from me, and from others walking the same path — beyond just attending a course.
You go through lessons at your own pace.
Rewatch anytime — not just once and forget.
Every week, there’s a challenge.
You practise, share, and learn by watching and evaluating others.
And every week, we train live.
One hour. Real feedback. Real growth.
There’s also a progression system.
The more you show up, the more you unlock — including advanced courses like debate.
The simplest way to think about it?
It’s a gym for communication.
Because speaking well isn’t about knowing more.
It’s about practising better.
Launches on Monday, 20 April 2026.
Stay tuned for the link.

This week, I did something simple — but important.
I attended a Zumba class.
Not as the instructor.
But as a participant.
And I loved it.
There is something powerful about intentionally placing yourself back in the learner’s seat. Following the cues. Picking up new moves. Observing how another instructor commands the room, builds energy, and connects with participants.
I found myself studying the details.
How they transitioned between songs.
How they encouraged without overwhelming.
How they used eye contact, humour, and presence to create a safe, high-energy environment.
It reminded me of something I deeply believe in:
The moment we think we have “arrived” is the moment we stop growing.
Whether in public speaking, leadership training, or dance fitness — there is immense value in stepping out to learn from fellow professionals. Not to compare. Not to compete. But to refine. To sharpen. To stay relevant.
As trainers and educators, we ask our participants to stretch themselves all the time.
We should do the same.
Growth requires humility.
Excellence requires exposure.
And mastery requires lifelong learning.
Grateful for the sweat, the insights, and the reminder that being a student is a privilege.

🎤 Think impromptu speaking can’t be prepared? Wrong.
You don’t freeze because you have no ideas.
You freeze because you’re asking the WRONG questions.
❌ “What if I mess up?”
❌ “What if I look stupid?”
❌ “What if this goes viral… for the wrong reason?”
Your brain will always answer the question you give it.
Ask better questions → Get better answers.
Impromptu isn’t about talent.
It’s about training your mind to respond, not panic. 🧠🔥
