USA Track & Field (USATF) is the National Governing Body for track and field, long-distance running and race walking in the United States. USATF encompasses the world's oldest organized sports, the most-watched events of Olympic broadcasts, the #1 high school and junior high school participatory sport and more than 30 million adult runners in the United States. Led by President Stephanie Hightower and CEO Max Siegel, USATF is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization with a staff of professional program administrators at the National Office in Indianapolis.

📅 Saturday, November 7, 2026
📍 Nottingham Park
14205 Kimberley Lane | Houston, TX 77079
🔴 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Registration Deadline: November 1, 2026
The 2026 USATF Gulf Association Championship will be held in conjunction with the 2026 Texas Youth State Championship, giving our athletes an incredible opportunity to compete against a larger and more competitive field.
This combined championship experience will provide athletes with valuable exposure to a competitive environment that more closely resembles the size, energy, and level of competition they may experience at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships.
⭐ IMPORTANT USATF REQUIREMENTS
Although the championships are being conducted together, all USATF requirements remain in effect.
Athletes seeking advancement through the USATF Junior Olympic Championship pathway must:
• Have a verified 2026 USATF Membership
• Be properly registered for the 2026 USATF Gulf Association Championship
• Meet all applicable USATF eligibility and advancement requirements
🚨 PLEASE NOTE
Only athletes who are officially registered for the 2026 USATF Gulf Association Championship will be eligible to advance through the USATF Junior Olympic Championship pathway.
Participation in the 2026 Texas Youth State Championship alone does NOT qualify an athlete for USATF advancement.
We are excited to provide our Gulf Association athletes with this expanded competitive opportunity and look forward to an outstanding championship!
Coaches, parents, and athletes: Please read and follow ALL registration and championship instructions carefully to ensure your athlete is properly entered and eligible for advancement.
🏆 LET’S GET READY TO COMPETE, GULF ASSOCIATION!
Bigger Field. Greater Competition. One Championship Experience.
