Hello All,

The board voted on it and we want to participate as a league in the Apopka 2026 Christmas parade on 12/12/26. It is open to all of our participants that were ether in the Spring or Fall 2026 seasons.

The criteria is as follows.

A. You must wear a league issued jersey and hat to walk the route
B. If a child walks a parent must walk as well for liability reasons (set by city)
1. We plan on having a truck for smaller children
2. Parents that walk will walk along the side not in the parade
3. For smaller children we are open to parents hauling them through the route in a wagon especially for those 4-6 year olds.
C. Be at the staging area form 7AM-745AM on 12/12

Zombie Team Picture compitition rules

Each team that wants to participate must go next to Field K to take a photo of them before their game on Saturday. It is a team competiition so the more of you in a team costume (Coaches and Team Moms) included the better your chances to win. Kids must play in their costume, so no masks or anything else that would obstruct safe play (if they can get hurt by falling on it it is a nogo). We do not want you tearing up your fall uniforms, but old torn up baseball pants and maybe white tshirts with the team name on it would be ok (must look like a team). Winner will be decided by NON-Participating board members (if you coach on a participating team you can’t vote). We push Zombies because of its low cost and popularity, but it is a team costume competition. As long as the team sticks to a theme you increase your chances of winning. Winner gets a Pizza party folon a following Saturday. All participating photos will be displayed on facebook. There will be one Baseball Team Winner and one Softball Team Winner.

Dressing up is not mandatory so if a family decides that they want to participate and not dress up we fully support that. If a team wants to take a competition photo with only dressed participants, and a team photo that all the kids are included we support that as well. Both photos will be posted on facebook but only the competition photo will be judged for the pizza party.

Best Boy and Best Girl costume rules

Any boy or girl that participated in the Spring of 2026 or this fall is legible to participate. Your costume can be of whatever it does not have to be a Zombie. Every child that wants to participate must go by field K and have their photo taken. Hamming up the photo in the spirit of the costume is highly recommended. All the photos of the individuals will be posted on the page. the photo that gets the most likes will win...one boy and one girl. The prize is one free regristration for the Spring 2027 season.

Hey guys last live registration tonight reminder from 6-8

As we get closer to tryout/skills assessments this Saturday, wanted to pass alone the date, times and location of the tryouts. If you haven't already registered for the season and still planned to do so, you can go online at apopkalittleleague.com to register before Saturday. If you need to register in person, the last day to do is Thursday 8/27 from 6-8:00 at the little league office. Listed below are the times for each division. You will need to arrive at-least 15 minutes early to sign in prior to your start time.

Softball: Saturday 8/29
9:00 Field K Coach Pitch
10:00 Field K Player Pitch
11:00 Field K Major
12:00 Field K junior/Senior
If you are unable to make Saturday, make up will be on Monday 8/31Field K 6:00

Tball no tryouts
9:00 Field I Minor A last name A-M (group 1)
10:00 Field I Minor A last name N-Z (group 2)
11:00 Field I Minor AA all players

We are 2 managers short in the Minor AA division and would like to manage a team you can reply to [email protected] or go online to register. Would like to have managers in place prior to Saturday.
