Our Synergy HS Women - Blue team traveled down to Kimberly today to take on River Surge. First time playing on turf after practicing on long grass. Faster surface and took a bit to adjust and get going. We created some chances just couldn’t finish in the net.

We take the learnings and we continue to work to get stronger.

Our HS Women Team Green took the field this morning against Seymour Task. We started off with the first goal of the game when Wynter Krull found back of the net with assist from Estella Vieaux. Estella Vieaux then found back of the net for our second goal. Elle finished the scoring in the first half with a beautiful free kick into the net.

Second half the women came out still hunting the net with goals by Estella Vieaux, Gia Kussow, and Elle Lezotte. Sayuri Rubio held a clean sheet in goal today as we fought to a 6-0 victory. Strong play by our defensive and midfield to limit opportunities for the opponents.

Our MS Girls (u14) team took the field today. Played a very tough and physical game but played good soccer. They moved the ball, creating opportunities, and dominated the game in all categories except the one that matters at the end.

Final score 1-0 for opponents.

Great effort, many things to continue to build on, and very determined group to do their best.

Our U12s also are playing in the Kick Some Grass Tournament. This is a first year team competing in travel soccer. We are excited to see their growth and development over the year.

Today’s games didn’t fall their way, but they learned, they will improve, and they play till the end of each game as hard as they start. The future will be bright for them.

Day 1 of the Kick Some Grass Tournament is in the books with a mix bag of result for our u14s and 2 HS women teams.

U14s took the field first and for many it was their first travel game. We started the scoring off with PK put back but it was taken off the board. We scored again later but fell in the first game. They rebounded nicely in the second game earning a shutout victory and put in a solid performance where they dominated the game. Advancing into the playoff bracket for tomorrow.

Our HS women Team Green took the field second. They fought valiantly for the first game and succumbed to a PK with about a minute left in the game. They rebounded for their second game and earned a 2-2 tie keeping their hopes alive to make the playoffs tomorrow.

Our HS women Team Blue took the field 3rd today. We gave up a corner kick goal in the first game and just couldn’t find the back of the net. Came back for the second game and played more determined and won the game 3-2 leaving many chances on the table. Magic 8 ball says they will advance to the playoffs tomorrow but one game left in their bracket to decide.

We want to wish our U12, U14, and 2 HS women teams a successful tournament down in Hartford, WI this weekend. Games start early tomorrow morning and run potentially early evening on Sunday.

Play to final whistle, communicate, work together, and have a successful tournament before the season kicks off. We are all cheering for you.
