Dance is built on connection, trust, and shared passion. It is our responsibility as a community to continue creating spaces where every dancer feels safe, comfortable, respected, and valued.

Across the dance community, important conversations have been taking place about how we can continue creating safer, more inclusive environments for all dancers. These conversations are an opportunity for studios, organizers, and dancers alike to listen, reflect, learn, and continue raising the standard for our community.

At PasoFino, we believe safety is an ongoing commitment. We are taking this opportunity to strengthen our practices, improve communication, and continue building a space where every dancer knows their boundaries matter, their voice is valued, and they can feel supported both on and off the dance floor.

Moving forward, PasoFino will be focusing on clear expectations, accountability, consent, accessibility, education, and thoughtful responses to concerns so that our socials, classes, and events reflect the safe and welcoming community we strive to create.
