Fire Power Seminars was proud to be represented at Florida Atlantic University Executive Education's Leadership Boot Camp: Effective Leadership, where our Co-founder, Karen E. Pfeffer, serves as an FAU Adjunct Professor.

Karen led Day 3, Communication Skills for Leaders, exploring how we communicate with ourselves and others, perceptual filters, language patterns, cultural differences, conflict, and the role self-awareness plays in becoming a more effective leader.

One of the things we love most about leadership development is seeing the conversations, connections, and "aha" moments that happen when leaders take time to better understand themselves and one another.

Congratulations to this wonderful group on completing three days of learning, reflection, and growth!

Fire Power Seminars was honored to partner with Florida Atlantic University Executive Education as part of PriceSmart's three-day Women in Leadership Program, bringing together 26 remarkable women leaders from Central America, the Caribbean, and South America.

We’re grateful to Paige Pavlik Garrido, FAU's College of Business/Executive Education Assistant Director, Corporate Training & Talent Development, and Carolina Cabello, PriceSmart Talent & Development Manager, for investing in these exceptional women through practical leadership tools, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to learn from one another's diverse experiences.

On the final day, Karen E. Pfeffer, Co-founder of Fire Power Seminars and FAU Adjunct Professor, led Communication Skills for Leaders before surprising participants with Fire Power Seminars' signature Breaking Barriers experience.

No one was required to participate. Everyone chose what was right for them.

Watching these remarkable women step beyond their comfort zones, encourage one another, and discover they were capable of more than they imagined was a powerful reminder that courage is contagious.

The boards represented a physical barrier. The real breakthrough came from overcoming psychological barriers of fear, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs.

Special thanks to Ana Larrea-Albert and Nancy Proffitt for facilitating the first two days, and to all the women leaders who made this experience so memorable.

Keep choosing courage. The possibilities are endless.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their bravery, selflessness, and dedication remind us that freedom is never free.

Another incredible day at FAU's Executive Education Leadership Boot Camp Effective Leadership program!

Karen E. Pfeffer had the privilege of facilitating Day 3 of FAU’s Leadership Bootcamp: Effective Leadership, focused on Communication Skills for Leaders.

Effective communication goes far beyond words. Throughout the day, participants explored self-awareness, perceptual filters, listening skills, language patterns, flexibility, conflict navigation, and the power of intentional communication in building stronger teams and cultures.

Congratulations to leaders who participated, for their engagement, openness, and commitment to growth.
