Candlelight Jazz Concert Series

Thank you to everyone who responded to yesterday’s Candlelight weather/back-up location straw poll.

After about 24 hours, the responses are telling something important:

A strong majority said **yes, they would attend indoors** if weather threatened the concert. A smaller group said it would **depend on the venue**, and only a few said they prefer the outdoor experience only.

There was a lot of interest in the idea of a **special rainout/makeup concert** featuring bands whose dates were canceled.

That helps. ...people care about the music, the artists, the atmosphere, and the planning.

Now, for a different kind of question.

Candlelight is a full series, but people experience it in different ways. Some come almost every week. Some come several times each season. Some come mainly when a favorite artist or band is performing. Some mostly follow online.

All of those perspectives matter — but they may not be the same.

**Today’s Candlelight question: How often do you usually attend during the season?**

1. I’m a regular — almost every week
2. I attend several concerts each season

Candlelight has had several weather cancellations this season. Since rescheduling is difficult, would you support having an indoor backup location?
