Augusta Parks and Recreation - Maine

Bicentennial Nature Park will open for the season TODAY, Wednesday, June 17th. Located on Three Cornered Pond, this 27-acre waterfront park is available exclusively to Augusta residents and offers swimming, hiking, picnicking, and carry-in boat access.

The park features wooded trails, picnic areas with tables and grills, a swimming area with docks and floats, restrooms, and changing facilities.

Hours of Operation
-Wednesday to Sunday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-Closed Monday and Tuesday

Please note that the park may close due to inclement weather.

Fees
Daily admission:
-$4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children (5-11) and seniors (65+).
-Season passes are available at $50.00 for family/vehicle, $25.00 for adults, $10.00 for children and $10.00 for seniors.

The City of Augusta Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that pools will open for the summer on Monday, June 22nd. The pools will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. This year's operating pools include: Williams Pool on Bangor Street and Calumet Pool on Northern Avenue.

Tickets will be available starting tomorrow 6/17 Cash only. Funtown Combo tickets $49.00, Aquaboggan $23.00, Yorks $16.00. Pick up at the Buker Community Center during normal business hours.

THE BIKE RODEO SCHEDULED FOR MILL PARK TOMORROW HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE RAIN.

If you are looking for a fun weekend activity to do with your kids this weekend, check out the Bicycle Rodeo on May 30th, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Mill Park! Make sure to bring your bike, helmet, and parent.
