It's a little muggy in the Arrington Racing garage today. Just found a bad front hub and getting that replaced.

Arrington Racing back in the garage getting the crown vic ready for racing action tomorrow at the Indianapolis Speedrome. We had a great Tuesday night racing in the adult fastkart, now it's time to carry the momentum into Thursday with the Ford on the oval.

Arrington Racing had a really good night in our first ever Adult Fastkart start. I have to give a huge thank you to Justin Bliss for allowing me to wheel the fastkart tonight. Thank you for trusting me in your equipment.

Went out in first practice and was just trying to see what these things can and can't do. Ran bottom, middle, and 3rd grooves. Understanding the way these things steer. I would end up 4th quick in practice 1. In the 2nd practice I would set quick time and was able to find my groove.

Moving to the heat race I started 4th in the 3rd heat. Was battling for 2nd when I got turned sideways coming out of turn 4. Kept my foot to the floor and got it pointed back straight. I was able to run down and pass 2nd place and then was chasing the leader down. I battled hard running the outside of the leader right up to the checkard flag. Congrats Justin on the heat win.

Now onto the feature. I started 4th. I found a hole and shot the middle going into turn 4. Came down the front stretch and had a run on 2nd going into turn 1. Moved into 2nd place on lap 4 and had my eyes locked on the leader and began reeling them in. I made my move to the outside coming out of 2. As I pulled along side they tried to block. I held my ground and took the lead coming in to complete lap 8. I held the lead with heavy pressure coming from behind. Mark Purvis hot on my heals. We worked our way through lapped traffic. As we came to turn 3 coming to the checkard flag we caught a bunch of lapped karts. I made a rookie mistake and chose the high line. There was a wreck coming out of turn 4. Mark dove low as I went high and I fell back to 2nd coming to the flag. Congrats Mark on the feature win.

Man what a fun night. Not to shabby for my debut in one of these fastkarts.

Up next for us will be the oval race this Thursday in the ford. Then we will run a 50 lap figure 8 on Friday.

Arrington Racing is at the Indianapolis Speedrome for the first night of racing of 3hour week. Got me a ride in an adult Fastkart. Going to give it everything I got.

Arrington Racing is helping a fellow racer this week. Hauling out Matt Ross kart to the track for the first night of racing. This is 3hour week!

Should be a fun night of racing. Gates open at 400pm

This is 3hour week! On the schedule today is a 50lap outlaw figure 8, the FWD, and senior fastkarts. Not only are the Outlaws racing tonight but its all their practice to get ready for the 3hour figure 8 this coming Saturday.
