This facility has been the treasured center of summer life for generations of Stoneleigh families. Our popular programs include the Free State League Champion Stoneleigh Sharks Competitive Swim Team; the Morning Lap Swim for adults; and many more events and activities for our members.

The annual SES 5th grade graduation party is coming up this Monday. The pool will be closed to members from 12:00-3:00 with the event getting started for 5th graders after school dismissal at 12:30. If you’ve got a graduating Stoneleigh Elementary 5th grader, bring them down for a fun party with a DJ, some games, food and drink!

A huge thank-you to our neighborhood Girl Scout troop for maintaining and refreshing the flower bed on the Tred Avon side of Stoneleigh Pool!
The flower bed lost many plants to disease this year and the troop is raising $400 for replacements, mulch, and fertilizer. If you’d like to support their work, donations can be sent to the troop’s Venmo: .

Getting there.
Gonna close early today at 4:00pm because of the cold temps and lousy weather. Come before then if you wanna take a first day plunge. Otherwise we’ll be open at noon tomorrow.

First in the pool, these brave young ladies!
It’s a chilly opening day, but somehow the pool water is warmer than the air. The pool is at 66° and the air is around 51°, for whatever that’s worth.
A few people have mentioned being interested in a quick opening-day dip, so we’re going to do a very unofficial Polar Bear Plunge at 3:00 p.m. for anyone who wants to join in solidarity.
Come if you want, stay warm if you don’t!

Getting closer! Thanks to all who helped Saturday getting the pool ready for us all!
Tomorrow 2:00-5:00 we’ll be getting some things spruced-up at the pool ahead of opening. Minor maintenance jobs, power washing etc. if you can come help that would be great. If you can lend us your power washer for a few hours that would be great too.
