Let’s shape a Physical Health Training for Peers!

The Johns Hopkins ALACRITY Center, with support from community partners On Our Own of Maryland (OOO) and the Maryland Peer Advisory Council (MPAC), is inviting peer support providers to join a series of one-hour working groups.

Share your experience, review training materials, and help create a practical six-hour continuing education course for peers seeking initial certification or recertification. Topics include healthy habits, managing chronic conditions, and talking about health risks.

Participants will be compensated for their time. Seats are limited!

Interested? Scan the QR code on the flyer or text 443-509-5320 to learn more.

Congratulations

For more than 20 years, we’ve teamed up with the Baltimore Ravens to support healthier communities across Maryland. Now, we’re expanding that work.

Through Huddle Up for Health, Maryland New Directions (MND) and Out For Justice, Inc. will receive grants to strengthen their work in workforce development, reentry support and civic engagement. The CareFirst Club Level at M&T Bank Stadium will also become a year-round space where local organizations can gather and offer health-focused programming at no cost.
