Raising children in faith. 🤍

Tonight I went to the first of six meetings at St. Julie Billiart for Catholic families, and I left with such a simple but important reminder on my heart.

Sometimes faith can accidentally become another thing on the to-do list.

Get the kids ready. Get everyone out the door. Make it to church. Say the prayers. Attend the meeting. Find the time in an already very full life.

And if I’m being truthful, sometimes getting three little boys ready and out the door for church can feel like a whole event in itself. 😂

But tonight reminded me that God was never meant to be something we try to fit into our lives.

He is meant to be at the center of them.

I want my boys to grow up knowing that faith isn’t just something we practice on Sundays. It’s how we live. It’s how we love people. How we forgive. How we handle the hard seasons. How we show gratitude in the beautiful ones. How we find our way back when life feels uncertain.

And I’ve noticed something in my own life…

When I stop trying to control every little thing and start centering myself around God, things seem to unfold differently.

Not necessarily perfectly. Not without hard days or challenges.

But more peacefully. 🤍

There is something about putting God first that changes the way we carry everything else.

And I want my boys to see that faith matters most not only when life is beautiful and easy, but also when it feels incredibly hard. When we’re disappointed, overwhelmed, grieving, or unsure of what comes next, I want them to know that God is still present and faith can still lead the way.

I want them to see us turn toward God in the difficult moments, not away from God. To see that faith doesn’t mean life will always be easy, but it gives us strength, hope, and direction when we don’t know what to do next.

So as I raise these little boys, I hope I can teach them that church isn’t a chore. Prayer isn’t another task. Faith isn’t something we squeeze into whatever space is left over.

It is the foundation.

I won’t always get it right. We won’t make every Sunday perfectly. There will probably be mornings when someone can’t find a shoe, someone is crying, and I’m wondering why I even attempted to leave the house. 😂

But we’ll keep showing up.

Because I want them to know God.
I want them to know they are loved by God.
I want them to have something steady to return to throughout every season of their lives.

And maybe raising children in faith is also God’s beautiful way of continually bringing us back to our own. 🤍🙏🏼

✨I love whenever I find a new necklace from alittlecontradiction ✨💙

I was so drawn to this Labradorite 🌎 as always not shocked. It’s one of the stones that always calls me.

✨ Labradorite — the stone of magic, intuition & transformation ✨

There’s something about Labradorite that feels like holding a little piece of the universe in your hands. 🌙💙

At first glance, it can look dark and unassuming… and then the light hits it just right, revealing flashes of blue, green, gold and rainbow beneath the surface.

Maybe that’s part of its magic. ✨

Labradorite is often associated with intuition, protection, transformation and trusting the path ahead. It’s a beautiful stone to reach for during seasons of change—when you’re growing, releasing old versions of yourself, or learning to listen a little more closely to that quiet inner knowing.

Spiritually, Labradorite is often used to:

🌙 Strengthen intuition
✨ Encourage transformation & new beginnings
🧿 Support energetic protection
💙 Bring awareness to your inner wisdom
🌿 Help you move through change with intention

And maybe its greatest little reminder is this:

Just because you can’t see the magic at first doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Sometimes, you just need to turn toward the light. ✨

I witnessed the most pathetic interaction inside Costco today.

An older woman pushed someone else’s cart out of her way, huffed and puffed, and then called the woman a “dumb bitch.” Over a CART. In Costco. On a Saturday. 😭

I looked at the other woman, we exchanged that universal “did that really just happen?” eye roll, and I said, “How rude are you?” The other woman and I smiled and laughed it off together.

But seriously… it was disturbing to watch someone speak to a complete stranger that way over something so insignificant.

If being around crowds makes you that angry and impatient, maybe a packed Costco isn’t the place to be. People are going to be in your way sometimes. Someone might stop their cart in an inconvenient spot. You might have to wait an extra 10 seconds. You’ll survive.

Maybe we could all just be a little kinder in this world. 🤍 You truly have no idea what another person is carrying that day. A little patience, grace, or even just basic human decency costs absolutely nothing.

The world is heavy enough. We don’t need to make it heavier for each other. 🤍

🌙✨ Our littlest Little Moon! ✨🌙

Can we PLEASE talk about this cutie pie rocking his Many Moons gear?! 🥹
💙 The tiniest little ambassador, my nephew, and I simply cannot handle it.

And look at all of those sweet little stork bites covering the back of his head. They’re sometimes called “angel kisses,” and honestly… could there be a more perfect name?! All I see is a little babe who was clearly loved on by the angels before making his way earthside. 🤍✨

There is something so magical about babies—their sweetness, their innocence, their little reminders that life is constantly beginning again.

Our littlest moon, covered in angel kisses and already representing Many Moons. 🌙🍄✨

My heart cannot take the cuteness. 😭

One thing I will always be passionate about is supporting local. 🤍

Because when you choose a small business, you’re doing so much more than purchasing a product or booking a service.

You’re pouring into a family.
You’re helping pay for dance classes, soccer cleats, groceries, school supplies, and little family adventures.
You’re helping someone keep chasing a dream they took a chance on.
And most importantly, you’re helping keep that love, energy, and money right here in our community. 🏡✨

As a small business owner myself—and a mama—I know firsthand how deeply every booking, purchase, share, recommendation, review, and kind word is felt.

There is something so special about knowing the people behind the businesses you support. Knowing their stories. Watching their businesses grow. Seeing them pour right back into the same community that pours into them.

I truly believe there is room for all of us to succeed. 🤍

So today I wanted to share and tag some of my local favorites—places and people I genuinely love supporting and would encourage you to check out, too!

And I want to hear yours! Tag one of your favorite local small businesses below so we can all discover someone new. 🫶🏼

Supporting local creates a beautiful ripple effect.

Pour into your neighbors. Pour into families. Pour into your community. 🌙🤍

And from this small business owner—thank you for continuing to pour into Many Moons, too. It means more to my little family than you know.
