Elizabeth here.

For some reason, a 90's Pop Mix featuring Britney Spears "Baby One More Time" has resulted in a massive and ridiculous positive mood swing for me. As well as some highly therapeutic - and dramatic - dance moves.

SO good.

According to Arthur Brooks, "If you want to use music more strategically to heighten your emotional experiences and gain a deeper sense of meaning and self-understanding, here are a few ideas to consider.

Decide what you want from your music. The research indicates that a trade-off takes place between using music to bond socially and using it to intensify emotions.

Follow a recipe. Create a catalog of songs you like. Pay attention to how each one makes you feel.

Play it yourself. Researchers in one 2020 study found significant and positive well-being effects of playing music, which included a comparison group of knitters— they derived even more happiness than the musicians. Perhaps the ideal formula for bliss is to listen to music while knitting."

A success story from CorePhysio client Rich! After a total knee replacement in June 2025, he went on to work with David and Zach for PT. His goal was to continue to perform at a high level and be able to participate in the CrossFit Open. Here he is competing in the 2026 open, ranking 75th in the world and continuing to the next stage in April.

We love supporting local non-profits that make a significant difference in our community! Thanks to our friend and colleague Aimee, who volunteers for Animals as Natural Therapy (ANT) outside of her clinical work at CorePhysio, Katie and Elizabeth joined her at the fundraiser last weekend.

As any pet owner can tell you, being with animals slows us down, and regulates our nervous system. ANT's work in schools, with veterans, hospice and companies is a powerful reset for everyone who experiences their work.

AND, when do you get a chance to see a goat in bellbottoms, a mini-mule in disco garb and a chicken in sequins in a ballroom??!

Please join us in extending a donation to this important organization - every contribution helps.

Perimenopause documentary and live Q&A with me and some of my friends in the space.

For you, your patients, your friends.

See you there.

The Casperson Clinic is proud to present a special screening of The M Factor 2.0: Before the Pause, a powerful documentary that shines a light on the often-ignored realities of perimenopause and the years leading up to menopause. This film continues the conversation by exploring the physical, emotional, and societal impacts of hormonal change — long before women are typically told to expect it — and challenges the silence, misinformation, and dismissal that so many experience in midlife healthcare. Following the screening, attendees are invited to stay for a live perimenopause discussion led by The Casperson Clinic. This interactive conversation will dive deeper into symptoms, treatment options, and what evidence-based care can look like during this transition. The goal is simple: education over fear, clarity over confusion, and empowering women with the knowledge they deserve — before the pause, not after.
