From 1-day trips to 5 day overnight wilderness adventures, we have something for everyone to enjoy! Ouzel Outfitters is an Oregon-based company offering trips on a wide variety of rivers in Oregon & Idaho. Choose from the Rogue, Deschutes, McKenzie, North Umpqua, John Day or Owyhee Rivers in Oregon or the Lower Salmon River in Idaho. We understand how exploring the outdoors can soothe and excite an urban soul and believe that the unique sights, sounds and pace of a river journey provides the best outdoor experience. Check out our trips and launch dates and book now to lock in 2026 pricing. Don't see a date or specific trip length that works for you? Let us know! At this point, much of our schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to meet your needs. Deposits for 2027 trips are fully refundable through the end of the year.

As this season winds down we will be left dreaming of peaceful river mornings and evenings spent with good company in wild places. Heading into fall and winter with our fingers crossed for snow snow and more snow! Its not too early to start planning for 2027, our calendar is up and ready to book!

We had some action packed days on our Lower Deschutes trips this summer! As the season draws to a close we are super grateful for another year of running rivers with phenomenal humans. A huge thank you to each and every one of our guides and guests for making this season another one for the books!

We now have our 2027 Rogue River Camp & Lodge Combination Trip dates on our calendar and ready to book! Spend 2 nights camping riverside and the 3rd at the beautiful Half Moon Bar Lodge! This trip is a real gem- and so are the humans at Half Moon! Dates so far below:

Grab your family and your friends and join us for a day of exciting whitewater, beautiful scenery and active splashy shenanigans. Hike into the natural water slides at White River, swim a rapid with your guide and enjoy a calm float between. Lunch is included and we offer round trip transportation out of Bend, OR. Meet AJ! Ouzel's Training Manager and Senior Guide extraordinaire AJ was born and raised in Bend, Oregon, and still proudly calls it home. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Business Administration. An avid outdoorsman and food lover, he enjoys exploring Central Oregon’s backroads and soaking in the small-town charm of the area. Growing up in a family of boaters, AJ caught the rafting bug at a young age and never looked back. He thrives in the guide lifestyle, especially embracing the unique logistics that come with the job. When winter rolls around, you’ll find him either driving the Zamboni at the local ice rink or carving down the slopes—sometimes even in a yeti costume!
