I GET IT! I have “those” days all the time. The “I don’t want to work out today” kind of day. But I go. B/c I KNOW the ROI here is big/lasting. The pros undoubtedly outweigh the cons!
I’m a better person not just physically, because of the gym.
I work out problems in my head at the gym.
I pray at the gym.
I give thanks at the gym.
I sweat my worries out at the gym.
I come and get it done I benefit because of it!
Find the empowerment in growing stronger every day!
Find the gratitude in being an example for your friends and family!
Find the awe in finally recognizing God’s creation in you that’s always been there, but you were too busy pointing out all of the flaws in his design (and when I say “you,” I mean “me”).
Find the time for new hobbies and opportunities for betterment!
There are many studies that confirm that implementing a consistent training schedule at the gym WILL provide you with an excellent return on the investment of your time! We either want/have the gift of quality time on this earth or we don’t.
I don’t think anymore needs to be said!

Movement (or lack thereof, rather) has been found to be the biggest predictor of all cause mortality. We live in a world where we’re bred from young adulthood to work hard until we reach retirement age. At that point, sadly, the vast majority of people will become even more sedentary than they were.  This lack of activity inevitably leads to death.
I’m sure anyone reading this can think of a family member/friend who passed away in a similar manner to the above-mentioned situation.
The moral of the story…start moving!
As little as 1 workout/wk. can improve strength (this has been proven)!
If you’re worried that you’re “too late” or “too out of shape,” I promise that you aren’t.
