Hands/knob work towards the ball(not to the ball)while the body turns behind the ball. Get on plane with the pitch and drive thru it. Head still. Eyes down. Rotate around your head with minimal movement.
I teach my hitters to drive thru any barrel the pitcher offers. Keep direction, balance and posture thru the pitch. Period.
Approach is all about timing, finding barrels, staying ahead of the pitcher. Period. HLP instructors. Explain to me how teaching HLP makes sense?
