To Promote and Develop the Growth of Tennis USTA Alabama was established in 1957 and has a current membership of over 11,000.
The Alabama Tennis Association (ATA) is run by a volunteer Board of Directors. A professional staff, housed in Birmingham, carries out the operations of the organization. We had a great weekend at the 55 & Over State Championships at Huntsville Tennis Center! The competition was strong, the sportsmanship was even better, and it was awesome to see so many teams come together from across Alabama.
Congratulations to all of our winners, and best of luck as you head to Sectionals to represent Alabama! A big thank you to our players, captains, and the Huntsville team for helping make it such a successful event.

Check out our 18 & Over Alabama State Champions! If you saw the weather radar at the start of the tournament, you probably thought there was no way we would pull it off.
But never underestimate the "bubble" that surrounds the Mobile Tennis Center! We ended up with some of the most beautiful tennis weather we've seen in years. ☀️🎾
