Forty scenes are set. The C**n Shoot course is ready. Kitchen's stocked. Camping is open tonight.

Registration opens at 7:00 AM. Breakfast is on at 7.

Traditional, compound, youth, cub — all of it, all weekend. Twelve days to the opener.

Two days out. What to know before you come:

📍 5960 W May Rd, Bloomington, IN 47403
💵 $25 for 12 and up · $16 ages 9–11 · under 9 free · $80 family of four or more
💳 We take credit cards at registration — but the KITCHEN IS CASH ONLY, so bring some for food
🎯 Walk-ups always welcome. We register right up to the cutoff both days.
⛺ Free camping, Friday and Saturday. Roll in Friday evening.
💧 BRING DRINKING WATER — our water is not potable. Drinks are for sale in the kitchen.
🚻 Indoor restrooms on site. No showers.
👢 Real boots. It's forty acres of actual terrain, not a flat range.
🔦 Headlamp if you're shooting the C**n Shoot.
⏳ Allow about three hours for the full forty scenes.

Let's talk about the kitchen. 🍳

Breakfast at 7:00 both days — biscuits and gravy, and both are made from scratch. Lunch from 10:30, breaded tenderloins. Saturday the kitchen stays open all day.

SATURDAY DINNER, 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Ham and beans. Red beans and rice. Homemade ice cream and desserts.
$5 a plate with a drink, $2 for dessert.

And here's the part worth knowing: Saturday dinner is a fundraiser for Troop 1119, the female Scout troop our club charters. Every plate goes straight back into the girls' program.

So come hungry. Eat at five, register for the C**n Shoot at six.

Nobody's living out of a cooler at this shoot.

CUB — Compound and Traditional
P*E WEE — ages 8 and under, any bow, FREE to shoot

Every age, every bow type, both sides of the sport. Class winners take certificates and plaques, and door prizes are drawn at random all weekend.

For credit card needs… This year you can walk up and scan in to buy event tickets to both the Wing Ding and the Night Shoot plus raffle tickets for a Timberhawk bow and 2027 memberships. Simply show us the receipt from your phone at the registration desk.

🤝 Trading blanket, Saturday.

Bring what you're done with, take home what you've been hunting for. Bows, staves, points, shafts, leather, and the usual pile of things that defy description. Some of the best gear in this club has changed hands on that blanket.

And the Top Traditional shooter takes home an engraved belt buckle — recurve, longbow, all of it.

Members — one ask, and it's worth more than anything we post.

Bring somebody who's never shot a Wing Ding.

A hunting buddy. Somebody from work. Your brother-in-law who's been saying he'll get the bow out this year.

Especially if they shoot compound — we're building that side of the shoot out, and the fastest way there is you asking one person.

If everyone reading this brings one, we double it. That's the whole plan.
