You finish a round and your low back feels tight again.
So you stretch it. Maybe it feels better for a while.
But if the same thing keeps showing up every time you play, I want to look beyond the sore spot.
One thing I check is whether the hips and mid-back are contributing enough rotation during the swing. If they aren’t, the low back may be asked to do more of the work over and over again.
That doesn’t mean every golfer with back pain has tight hips or limited mid-back rotation.
It means repeatedly treating the area that hurts may miss an important part of the picture.
My job is to figure out what your body can and can’t do, then build the mobility, strength, and control it needs to better share the demands of the swing.
So you can hurt less, recover better, and keep golfing for decades.
